I'm Back again

Just got back from my Ships reunion in St Louis. It was a great time had by all, we went through the Bud plant and indulged ourselfs with free beer, then we toured the musiem of transportation lots of old steam trains, we also got great seats to watch the Cardials spank the Diamondbacks I seen alot of new people from my time aboard ship. swapped alot of storys.and had a few drinks of ol Redeye 2 fingers at a time little finger and trigger finger and some coke for mixer if there was any room in the 10 oz plastic cup, I pround to say I converted a few friend to the proper way to drink, we stayed right next to the arch. right now i'm all bbq'ed ribbed out but they were all good. next year we will meet in Long beach california, Packo let your brother know he's welcome if he would like to attend.

oh i forgot to tell you about the dumb shits at TSA who run security and Seatac Airport. My wife had knee replacment surgery last year and they gave her a photocard to show security at the airport. well I went throuh security and picked up my stuff on the convaur line Joans stuff was right behind mine. Well she set off the alarms and was escorted to this glass cubical between lines to be surched by a bull dike. leaving her purse and everything on the convaer line so I picked it up and walk into where the were wanding herto give it to her. shit the Dike starts sceaming for a supervisor and tells be to sit down. I get Pissed and tell her to leave my wife alone she ain't no raghead. the supervisor shows up a tells me to take my shoes off they are going to scan me again so i take off my shoes then I removed my shirt and started to take my pants off and he want to know what I'm doing and I said I was making it easy to search me. Joans yelling at me to stop so I did until the dike tells her to shut her mouth mam and I start back up. so I go off on him and say I want a supervisor and he says I'm a supervisor I say you ain't shit to me get me your supervisor you little piss ant. well to make a long story after the third supervisor talks to me and I'm calmed down and explane I've been married to Joan for 39 years and that the dike was being rough with her and I would allways be there to protect her. He called american airlines and they sent someone down to see if I would be ok to fly to st louis with them he took me aside and asked me my side out of hearing range of tsa supervisors I told him what happened and that I suffered from ptsd he said he would take care of everything. he went over to tsa and they released me and the man from american called for a motorized scooter to take her to our gate and had a wheel chair waiting for us in st louis. I may have over reacted but I will never allow anyone to step on my rights or my family rights.

Remember, not long ago, these assholes were flippin' burgers, now they got POWER! My hip ALWAYS sets the dam thing off and have to go through the search every friggin' time...leaving poor Deb to have to get her shoes on, pick up my and her luggage, and try and drag it over to where ever the hell they have me. One time the TSA people were bitching because she wasn't doing it fast enough for them....the girl is 5' nothing, 120 lbs....she screamed back at them, "Well you've got my Vietnam Vet husband searching him, I'm doing the best I can". Well....this also almost started a bru-ha-ha when I started also chiming in. Some TSA person ran over and helped Deb get all the crap off the conveyer and came over and apologized to us. In Atlanta, they arrested a WWII Vet when they were searching him and he said.."Geeze, what do you think I've got, a M-1 stashed in there?" He was cuffed and wisked away.

Glad you had a great time at the reunion. I will sure nuff' tell my brother about it.

I think all these security screeners peaked in high school and now, like Packo said, they have some power. We're all just visitors to their kingdom, so they think. They really need more training.
