No more snow to shovel for a while!

I know ya'll left coasters are ready to enjoy the outdoors!

Summer is in full swing here in Florida, and all my grass is green and flowers in full bloom.

Oh...yeah...the mosquitos are also here.

Its been weird here in MA. This past winter was very long and very cold. The spring was very wet. Memorial Day weekend was up in the high 90's and today its 65 degrees, heavy overcast, but 75% humidity. You don't know whether to wear shorts or jeans, t-shirts or a jacket. Unfortunately, there's more damn mosquitoes than you can shake a stick at.

I feel for you right coasters. Too much humidity and misquitoes. I live right on the Satsop river and we are not bothered by misquitoes. Last night I went to the local dirt track and watched the neighbors race they came in second. JJ Hinckle raced last night but didn't do to good but he didn't wreck that good what he needs is ol' Griz back in his pit crew. They said last night they might go to knoxville. thats like the brickyard for dirt tracks. anyway when it got dark and the lights came on the bugs came out but the dirt and dust from the track kept them away from us. wierd they just stayed up by the lights. Happy Summer.

Default The Weather

The last two days the weather has been in 100's. Very hot for Ellensburg.

Just got back from Mass. It was warm and humid but not overly hot. But that humidity makes the gentlemen sweat and the ladies perspire. We got stranded in N.Y. for one day because they wouldn't let the planes off the ground due to thunder storms.

All I can say is: Those Mass driver are crazy. I thought Seattle and LA drivers were crazy but those Mass drivers are nuts.

Keith,

Think positive!

At least you didn't crash through the railings of a wooden bridge and end up in your car under water!

The high hot n’ dry here as usual. 98 and no humidity to speak of and mosquitoes can be found if ya go looking for them. In late August we’ll see those a bit, but not as yet.
In her struggles to communicate my 2 ¾ year old granddaughter calls them “skamitoes” but I know what she is talking about, so no big thing.

I took her to Reno Rodeo Friday night and she got a real kick out of that. Ha ha, the Rodeo clown had on can’t bust m’ strap overalls and a big straw hat. That is my usual garden attire so of course the little one pointed to the clown and declared, ‘grandpa’. Ok I guess, but no way I’d go mess with those mean-ass bulls, nope.
