Plus??.

The oldest remains of the Neanderthal man yet to be found were found in Iraq. Long thought to have exclusively inhabited present day Western Europe, it was quite a surprise to find that Neanderthal man has roots that go back much further in Iraq. Neanderthal man is named after the Neander Valley in Germany where the first remains were discovered in the 19th century. The latest discoveries in Iraq didn?t cause a renaming ceremony just yet, but does point out the downside of naming things after contemporary things.
