First of all – We Americans Are ‘NOT’ Stupid (not at all)! And even though the media incessantly bakes our brains with their buy this, and believe that tripe and hogwash, most of us are still able to think for ourselves! And even though logic itself is often under attack these days by those hucksters who would like you to believe that “Their Way Is The Only Way”, most of us are still able to determine most things for ourselves and that really “Pisses the Hell” out of those who think that it is their right, and their mandate to dictate any (and all) of the input that we absorb into our eager little brains!

Once upon a time, “not all that long ago”, we were a race of giants! We thundered to the top over the corpses of our foes, and the ruins of their faulty ideologies! And no man nor nation, could ever tell us how to think, or how to perform! For we had earned the right of self-determination through the blood and sacrifices of our progeny and our ancestors as well! And nothing was impossible, even if a few things were beyond our reach at that time - and that soon became our way of life and our modus operandi!

“So What Happened?” It was only when we grew complacent and apathetic, that our footing began to grow unsure - and our grips began to wane! But nothing is eternal and the fatal outlook that lunged itself into our midst shortly after the sunset of World War II and at a point in time when we began to seriously question even our own hard-won abilities, or we decided that we had finally arrived at the apex of human achievement - did the perfection that we thought that we had attained, prove to be nothing more than just a knife in our backs! But has this also stymied our guts and continuously detracted from our progress! ‘Now Don’t Get Me Wrong’ – we are still the greatest of the great, but even greatness itself must be stimulated now and then, lest it putrefies and merely rots away

Let's review "What does “a more perfect union” mean?

It means the Founders realized that although they had a good union, it needed a lot of improvement and they hoped that improvement would
continue through the lifetime of the country.

[We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution
for the United States of America.]

Note: It was approved, after much debate (between July 1776 and November 1777), by the Second Continental Congress on November 15, 1777, and sent to the states for ratification.

The Articles of Confederation came into force on March 1, 1781, after being ratified by all 13 states. A guiding principle of the Articles was to preserve the independence and sovereignty of the states. The weak central government established by the Articles received only those powers which the former colonies had recognized as belonging to king and parliament.

The preamble to the Constitution is pretty much an explanation
of the goals of the document, which replaced the unworkable Articles of Confederation.

And having a more perfect union was just one of the goals;

* establish justice
* ensure domestic tranquility
* provide for the common defence
* promote the general welfare
* ensure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity.

The US Constitution, among other things, defines and creates a federal government that is legally superior to state governments, with certain powers reserved to the states.

The Union (of the states, meaning the United States) became “more perfect”, that is, stronger and more complete, with the states voluntarily ceding some of their sovereign powers to the Federal government.

[More history: “Form a more perfect union” is part of the Preamble of the US Constitution. Our current form of government is technically the second with the first being under the Articles of Confederation. The Articles were not too good. In the spirit of independence and the fear of tyranny the Founding Father made the central government inherently weak and at the mercy of the states. The biggest issue being they could not tax therefore not afford itself or a standing army. An example of its failure very early on was in 1783; soldiers mutinied Pennsylvania over
pay and when Congress asked for Penn. militia to help they refused. Washington had to send in soldiers to disperse the mutineers while Congress relocated.

After Shay’s Rebellion most agreed the Articles needed revision, but during the Constitutional Convention an entirely new form a government was created. In this government, the states would be more united instead of just a coalition that occasional sided with one another. It set up and gave the central government more power. A more perfect union is the United States as we know it today.

However: To be more than the sum of our parts.

To be more than a bunch of hick farmers and refugees scattered across a still largely wild continent, alienated from the civilizations and cultures that we and our ancestors left behind.

To find new meaning to human life and build a new, forward-looking civilization that will lead humanity out of the petty squabbles of the old world, and build a structure and a society that eternally seeks to challenge, improve, and iterate itself.

To build a country that takes advantage of our geographical unity instead of wasting our resources on conflict and pointless competition.

To enjoy economy of scale and learn from each other’s struggles and successes rather than repeat each other’s mistakes.

To be better together than we are separately.

[Even today we find ourselves split or partially divided once more.]

Imperfection is the base human state of existence. The constitution of those United States at the date and time was the beginning of the quest for perfection in the union of people, geography, and thought toward liberty and justice, for all those seeking and all those yet to seek, a place of peace, common prosperity and hope for ultimate freedoms and equalities as the world had not seen but those special imperfect visionaries could shape and outline as noble ambition for those to ensue.

These are but a few posted elements discussing the current issues that we are in at this time. The country is currently;
splintered and without a coherent Nation (or is divided) as
such it will not lead us to humanity - rather distrust leading
to rebellions once more.

As we all know the North & South are somewhat indifferent with the ongoing esthetics' that are ongoing within our government - and it seems the two party systems can not seem resolve them or find substantial reasoning for this indifference in both house's!
We are one Nation Under God! or are we?

We can't move forward without a give & take system to maintain a balance that cares for ALL the Peoples of this Country - and not
the independent parties best interest - which - we see way to often - and more so of late - hence; [Nothing Gets Done!]

You're overall antic's in both House's are driven by your best parties best interest or your's - but which it seems - not to be in
the People's best interest. You won't survive re-elections with this [attitude] while supposedly working for the People's Interest
- rather than support your own personal gains - or your party!

Get your acts together or [M.O.T.S.] will result and soon tear this country apart with many more insurrections.

Either Fix it - or Lose it! Work together or resign your Post - it's
in your hands right now. But when re-elections come due you
will surely get the boot - and then have to go back and face your State's persecutions for improper handling of your post - while in office!
