Gambling On Death!?

Yesterday, I penned a piece describing a relatively ?New and Disgusting Futures Market!? One in which so-called futures (bets in reality) could be taken on morbid happenings, and these included the likelihood of military deaths, political assassination, etc! As a matter of fact, the whole idea for this ?Cock- Fight Mentality? scenario, apparently began right here in San Diego Country?

It was nice to know, however, that as few national lawmakers saw the repugnancy of this ingenious form of prostituting human survival, and as such blew it?s final whistle! What I found amazing, however, is the fact that so many abandoned their humanity in favor of a fast buck, and these clowns weren?t even in politics, I don?t think?

Worse of all, most of those involved in this extension of ?San Diego's Bum Fight Mentality?, saw absolutely nothing wrong or harmful in a monstrous endeavor (opinion) that they expected to capitalize handsomely upon? ?Hey, it?s all just good business they say, and when (years ago) a highly decorated, and intelligent gent said pretty much the same thing to me (personally) about another questionable activity, I reeled back and lost a lot of respect for this person!

There are but several things that truly separate us from the animals of the jungle! And some of these things are ?Honor, Integrity, Concern For Humanity, Truth, and a feeling of social equality (real or imagined)!?

When one wagers upon the death of a peer, for nothing more positive that enriching his bank balance, or for fame and unearned honor, then that human dog is to be rooted-out and cast down - no mater how low or lofty his station!

Of course, there are no real surprises contained herein, now are there? Reports (true or false) of politicos running drugs, selling us out to foreign entities, stealing elections, doctoring intelligence reports, bleeding state and federal resources dry, kissing the asses of proven international bastards, after scraping away the blood of our fallen heroes, and of course, taking the sole credit for the deeds of others, both politically, militarily, or even stealing the genius of trusting university students to advance their own careers and agendas! (Ring a cracked bell, does it?)

And let us never forget the ?Pentagon's and government?s Own Words? in DAIG IN 21-75, COS 385 and the Church Senate Reports of 1977 - hundreds of pages of them, in which it was disclosed that American Soldiers, many of them unwitting and un-informed, were surreptitiously brutalized in ongoing experimental programs! This was the tragedy, the dishonor however, rests with those who still hide these domestic atrocities under a sham of all encompassing national security! These liars are not patriots at all, but rather barely-human scum and cowards!! (opinion)

And worse of all, the VA, the government and the Intel sectors alike, now deny the statements made upon their own (printed) revelations (listed above) in order to screw over anew, their victims of the past, while still powdering the slimy little asses and polluted mentalities of the highly-placed guilty!

Apparently, this means little or nothing to most of you, until that is, it is your own family that are the unwitting victims of these miserable, soulless bastards. But is this not to be expected within a morally dying society that could care less about their brothers and sisters, as long as it is the other guy (or gal) who is being bastardized and/or obliterated!

Hey, no sweat, a few soulless clods in society and government have even been allowed to expunge the ?Name of God? from virtually every aspect of our lives. And without a God, everyone becomes fair game to the growing evils that lurk among us. Of course, it is my opinion that many of those in politics who claim religion for the cameras are as hypocritical as Marie Antoinette! The only difference is, that instead of ?Let Them Eat Cake?, a few within the new crop of politicos are avowing instead - ?LET THEM (that?s us brothers and sisters) EAT SHIT?

Many of us may some day soon be forced to do just that, and as such, just think of the lunches that we may be depriving a few up on the hill! After all, for a few in politics and government to ingest excrement would be an act of cannibalism! (opinion)

Naw that is not quite true, as many politicians are not cannibalistic at all, except around election time that is!!

Hardcore, it does mean a lot to ALL of us.

If my understanding of world history is correct, the most probable outcome of all criminal or wrong deeds done by governments is a gradual, very very slow building up of rage, fear, pain, anger, poverty, disability, loss, suffering... until at some unpredictable moment, for completely unforeseen reasons, it all spills over into conflagration and radical change; most often in the form of a Civil War or a Revolution which may or may not resolve the disputes; usually not.

Then the cycle begins again, almost immediately.

At that moment of radical change, when emotions and conditions are just right, most civilizations attempt to install a better form of government. Usually they are successful, and in normally a very brief period of time the forces in whose interest the reformed system is not working find ways to undermine it.

Case in point:
Our original 13 colonies fought a Revolution against a far superior military foe, under an Articles of Confederation. Men sent to Philadelphia for the purpose of revising those Articles, chose instead to create en entirely different document, and had to practically be FORCED to include in it the Bill of Rights. Their document has been amended several times since, sometimes for the betterment of true democracy, and sometimes not.

Just as the Treaty of Versailles lead directly to WW II, the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia lead directly to our own Civil War, and everything that has happened to us politically since.

Today, America is on the uphill side, very near the top point, of having taken and given all we can stand. The hill will either continue to get taller, or there will be some other form of relief. It could as easily be fairness and justice, but is more likely to arrive in the form of further chaos if present trends persist.

Government is an inherently chaotic system. Vast government is incapable of controlling the chaos under any form yet known or tried. "Chaos Theory" is studied at places such as the CIA and Santa Fe Institute, among others. It simply states that no system is impervious to the unexpected trauma of complete change, and that all complex systems always reach a condition of maximum probability of failure... like blowing a dragster engine at 250 mph.

In a certain sense, every word and thought ever recorded on Patriot Files threads taken together represents a brick in a solid structure that is building itself organically in response to the stimuli of our primary common bond; America. Micro contributions from individuals eventually become a macro structure, which could be analyzed in its totality if there were sufficient resources and scientific objectivity to accomplish such a valuable task.

However, revolution can take on a plethora of forms and goals. It is not necessarily a violent undertaking, but instead, can also be committed solely to the minds of thinkers and philosophers!

?Revolution in itself is but change!? It can be industrial in nature, self-intended, accomplished morally or through diatribe, and it can even be a silent internal revolution that is geared to change but the one! Hell, every "January First", millions (worldwide) engage in a revolution of sorts! (Resolutions)

"Elections too, are revolutions of a kind!" And although people sometimes find their new choices as harsh or unacceptable as the old, and they are left with but limited (legal) options for the remainder of any given elected term of office, there are still recourses, within the law of course!

Outside of the vote, there is always impeachment, and as is being done in California (even as we speak), recall!!

When any group of people are driven to a violent recourse, as they were in 1775 or 1861, or during the Watts Riots, or even the anti-war sentiment of the Vietnam War era, the entire society as a whole suffers a lasting trauma! No change, after all, is ever accomplished without some pain to some people! (opinion)

Sometimes, inflicting (certain kinds of) pain, however, may be considered justified by a clique or gaggle of self-centered entities, especially when they feel themselves to be self-immuned from a sacred public mandate (or trust), or free of even the laws that are designed to apply to all men equally, regardless of circumstance!

More often than not, however the pain that is initiated is limited to feelings, station, ego and/or finance prowess (aka-power)! And the premise behind our whole society was (and is) dictated to the overall good of the majority, and not just the whims of the invested few!! ?At least that is how it was designed to be (opinion)!?

Granted again, violence has been an often accepted means for change, and even our nation has engaged in this scenario (Manifest Destiny, Revolution and Civil strife, just to mention a few) "But violence always remains the less desirable of all choices, unless no other option or out is available!? "This is, after all, why our nation is (usually) so slow in opting to go to war!"

Are things always free flowing, milk and honey so to speak? Is kismet always close at hand and we a slave to it (I think not)? And do things always go the way that we would want them to? ?Hell, we all know the answer to that academic query!?

Eden is lost, and only pure political/economic bull shit and gossamer rainbows remain! As such, we must learn to make the most of them, and rebuild upon them as best we can! (This is, after all, our country!)

Mankind was not created to have it easy, and those who opt or insist upon analyzing, judging, or even acting the part of the Devil's Disciple, must first examine their own (true) motivations, or possibly even their shrewdly hidden agendas!

?As for fools like me?, I operate within the premise and parameters that: "In a democracy, silence is not golden!" In fact, silence can often be fatal to ideas, opinions, beliefs, noble aspirations and even freedom itself!

And unless things change radically, and they may (?), we still possess the means of legal recourse, civil disobedience, and when all else fails - "WE CAN STILL BITCH LIKE HELL!" Who knows, maybe someone in power still knows how to listen?

And alas, there is a universe of "OTHER''" Interesting and debatable subjects to tear into out there my friend - pick one and have at it!!
