![]() Military Spokesman Denies Claims that U.S. Sabotaged Nord Stream Pipeline
By: Eric Lendrum - AG News 02-20-23 Re: https://amgreatness.com/2023/02/20/m...ream-pipeline/ On Sunday, the spokesman for the National Security Council (NSC), John Kirby, formally denied the viral accusations that the United States covertly sabotaged the Russian-owned Nord Stream pipeline last year. According to Politico, Kirby said in a “Fox News Sunday” interview that the claim is “a completely false story” with “no truth to it.” “Not a shred of it. It is not true,” Kirby continued insisting with host Shannon Bream. “The United States, and no proxies of the United States had anything to do with that, nothing.” The claims were made by longtime journalist Seymour Hersh, who published his allegations on Substack and cited only one anonymous source as his “proof” that the story was true. Hersh has focused on sensational stories that depict the United States military in a negative light, previously reporting on alleged atrocities committed in Vietnam and later writing about so-called “torture” of Islamic terrorists in U.S. military prisons. He has also disputed the official story regarding the killing of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan back in 2011. In September of 2022, two underwater pipelines named Nord Stream I and Nord Stream II were fatally damaged by sudden explosions, the causes of which have not yet been determined. The pipelines, which run under the Baltic Sea, connect Russia to Germany and supplied a steady stream of fuel to Germany and surrounding European countries. The pipeline’s destruction represented a major blow to Russia’s ability to outsource fuel and other forms of energy, which has been one of its main advantages since it first launched its war with Ukraine in February of last year. Some have accused Russia of sabotaging its own pipeline so that it could subsequently blame Europe or the United States, in order to rally more support behind its cause in Ukraine. - When Bream further asked Kirby about whether or not Congress would have to be informed had the U.S. been responsible for such an operation, Kirby responded with by saying that “we keep Congress informed appropriately of things both classified and unclassified.” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About this writer: Eric Lendrum graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he was the Secretary of the College Republicans and the founding chairman of the school’s Young Americans for Freedom chapter. What would the US or Ukraine gain by blowing up the gas line - & why would they? Russia built the line - whose to say it wasn't jury-rigged to blow should events sour between the two countries. - It was to Russia's advantage to cut off their gas to heat Ukraine homes. It's not unlike Putin to not purposely rig that jury-rig the line should the events as such currently underway - would greatly compromise Ukraine & its people. - Putin built the bridge and installed the underwater gas pipe line. It's very possible that Putin had them jury rigged an explosive device - that could be triggered should events with Ukraine sour - of which were already underway - and as such they were not favoring his subservient orders. - They (Ukraine) need's to blow up his private armored railroad lines that he travels on. I'm sure he'd appreciate that and get his attention real quick. But its only a surmised notation - but not totally out of the realm of suddenly happening!? - The old tit-for-tat operation - may still be on table - at some time in the near future. Just maybe they could take him out as well. Russia would know doubt not miss him. But another may step up to take his place. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's another link you may want to read and view its really interesting to long to post: Here's the link: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...shi-Sunak.html Topic: Putin's TV attack dog calls for hypersonic missile strike on 'moron' Rishi Sunak after the PM vowed to give Ukraine more British weapons * Vladimir Solovyov called on Putin to 'knock on the door' of London with a missile * Putin's propagandist regularly launches into tirades against the United Kingdom By WILL STEWART and CHRIS JEWERS FOR MAILONLINE PUBLISHED: 07:18 EST, 20 February 2023 | UPDATED: 07:20 EST, 20 February 2023 It's pretty interesting and several video discussions as well.
