Dean Cain: I Fled California, Here's Why

By Sandy Fitzgerald | Saturday, 03 June 2023 03:34 PM EDT

Actor Dean Cain, who has moved from California to Nevada, told Newsmax that the main reason he left is because of Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom, who is displaying the "absolute definition of gaslighting" by telling the country how great the state is.

"The policies that are in place there, the tax structures, the tax on energy, the tax on gas, the tax on everything you spend, the sales tax, the state income tax, I mean, it just goes on and on and on," Cain told Newsmax's "Eric Bolling The Balance" guest host Lara Trump Friday night. "We've got 10% of the nation's population in California and 33% of the homeless."

He added that when Newsom was the mayor of San Francisco, he promised to eradicate homelessness, but did not do it there nor when he became the state's governor.

"I finally just had it," said Cain. "I voted right the entire time. I was very Republican, and it just didn't seem to make a difference. So finally I said OK, I'm going to have to take my ball and go elsewhere."

And now that he lives in Nevada, Cain said, there is "no state income tax. It's beautiful. I've got 10 times the house, and I'm about 10 times happier."

Cain also on Friday discussed companies such as Anheuser Busch and Target that are seeing deep financial declines after choosing the improve their environmental, social, governance [ESG] ratings, including with the Bud Light/Dylan Mulvaney marketing play and Target's Pride Month displays.

"Bud Light, to use the Las Vegas expression, is '86'd,'" said Cain. "They're gone. I just don't think they're going to make a comeback. They absolutely murdered their brand with the things they did."

Such companies are "going for this ESG thing" rather than having a fiduciary responsibility to their stockholders and clients, he added.
"Budweiser has always been known for its Clydesdales and red, white, and blue and cowboys; and that makes sense," said Cain. "When you get guys out in Colorado drinking beer and being patriotic and they see something that they think doesn't represent their values, they want out."

Cain also talked about "woke" actions that are taking place in the nation's schools, and told Trump that he put his son in a private Christian school "where we didn't have any of these sorts of ridiculous CRT [critical race theory] things being taught."

He urged parents to be involved with their children's education and know what the teachers are doing.

"Spend some time paying attention to what your kids are doing, and that's not just in school," he said. "That's online. That's everywhere. Online allows predators and people to get inside your children's bedrooms. If your kids are on an iPad, if they're playing any games, even if they're on Xbox, it's really imperative that we as parents know every password. Sorry, you don't get your privacy. I need to see who you're talking to. You hear what you're saying. If it's in a headset, let me have a headset and listen as well. You have to do that these days because predators are everywhere and people who want to, you know, influence your children."

Question People of Color - is it that bad or did we make it that way?

Note: Until we all are color-blind - these issues will sustain for some time.
The color of any man or woman's skin isn't really an issue. It's those
who were raised by those who were taught the contrary.
-
There's white - black - Asian - Mexican - Indian's - all sort of People's
in the US. Many way before us in our history. It's the teaching's or
exposure to other's and taught that they are good - bad or indifferent!
-
This is true - yet today - I'd say there's Good and Bad in anyone who
is forsaken to be other than each of us wants them to be.
-
We service folks - have all sorts of races within our military. We
train together - we work together - and when waring - we fight
the bad guys together. We die together - we end up with a
whole new perspective of the people of color.
-
If we continue to do these alternate traits we will enable
these once removed from the service. I've worked with men
and women of color - treat them like any other and you will
be surprised how much you can accomplish.
-
We have bad white's as well - these are traits learned prior
to any service considerations. The military has addressed
these issues or you're booted out with a bad conduct discharge.
-
People in the South are prejudice only from the standpoint
they were raised that way by their older folks. The Mexican's
are today are also in the same boat.
-
Race - should not be an issue - but for many years its been
an issue. My Grand-Father was Italian - My Grand-Mother
was Swedish & French. But here they are not men of color.
So they adjust rather well - at times.
-
Look at what we did to the American Indian's - we took
away their home - their Buffalo - and their lively hoods.
-
The Mexican's are the current issue. I've worked with a
few all across the country. Yea they have issues - but
every race has issues.
-
Hell we got Germans - Italians - Mexican's - and almost
every nationality on this planet - has lived here or was
born here at some time.
-
Until we can work through these issues - waring amongst
those who are of different color are unwelcome it seems
to continue.
-
Here too: The issues of our offspring are taught to dislike
those of folks of color. This is where we are everyday and
its a major issue. Past experience's ear-mark they are all
bad so to stay clear of them don't intermingle or hang out
together as you may get into trouble from one or another.

These interactions bring up issues that are taught at a very
early age. To - stay clear - of so and so - they are bad or they
will get you in trouble. Let's say every parent raising kids has an
experience with other's of color - or hears bad things about their
intentions. This is not true at all times - but it happens.
-
This is the start of racial indifference at an early age and hence
it tends to get exaggerated more-so as they age.
-
We the People are the ones who bring these issues to our
kids - to keep them secure - or at the very least - to know
these people of color will get you in trouble!
-
This is where it starts. What's your thought's on this subject
and can it be resolved or will it propagate as time goes by?
-
What's you're position on folks of color? Does it bother you
even though you don't interact with them? Let me know!
