Default Thanking the Men and Women of the U.S. military services

Please visit the Department of Defense web page below and sign in thanking the men and women of the U.S. military services for defending our freedom. The compiled list of names will be sent out to our soldiers at the end of the month. So far, there are only about 1.2 million names. What a shame...... National Military Appreciation Month. The entire exercise takes 10 seconds...literally.
Please pass it on to your email friends.

Default Roger.. just wanted to give you a salute....

< PIPP > and I am not a gyrene but will give you an Army "Hoorah" and "Semper Fi" as best I can. When I got drafted, the Marines took the whole front row ( I was in the 2nd row ). One dude fainted. An old-grizzled-Gunny, with every kind of service stripe, ribbon and what have you on his immaculate uniform, who looked like he had been in the Spanish American War and the "San Pebbles" gave us all a-great-big-ol-tooth-missing-smile and gently picked up the 'cruit and slowly, very, very, slowly drug him out the door, so that his hippie boots made lots of noise. They had some of those metal taps on the back heel. He had sholder length hair and a beard as well. There was an audible swoon and gasp behind me as this happened. I knew immediately I was in the wrong service. So, my heart always goes out to "The Few, The Proud, The Marines".....

Thanks for all the great stuff you find, and thank your wife too !!!!!

Larry AKA "MORTARDUDE the BERSERKER"
