Default Redundant a bit, aren't you?

I believe you're "repeating" yourself again, aren't you? You suggested a similar instance in one of your "previous" posts...(see below)...............and my answer is the SAME now as it was THEN.

YOU.................SET IT UP...........I"LL BE THERE!--Gimp

What the hell is it with you "right-headed" types anyway? Won't you guys EVER admit that George W. Bush has been found to be guilty as charged in the "proof" that you asked for and I supplied you?

I'll venture this... if it was within my ability, I would sincerely want you and me to go together to Washington DC, and have a little sit down conference together with the President... even if his name were to be Clinton . Just you and me, and him, for as long as it took .

You set it up.........I'll be there!----Gimp

Yo!

It is not I who has the problem with the President.

If you get the appointment, I'll come sit in (if they'll allow it), just to get a good belly laugh when the complete top of your head blows clean off with frustration at having to accept the wrongness of your position.

You have supplied only opinion, based on partial reporting of facts and statements. No "proof" has yet been offered to support the outlandish allegations being made.

If anyone out there knows the President personally, please cash in some chips so that he and Gimpy can meet together at their mutual earliest convenience. If possible, please also have the interlocutory video taped, so that everyone can see what/how Gimpy asked, and what/how the President answered.

I'll pay for the video tape stock.

Default Blue...

MY COMPLIMENTS TO YOU...for how keeping-your-cool responding to such typically negative and/or typically purposeful questionings, such as ONLY making Dems look GOOD (even though naturally not so) in the process, while making Republicans look BAD (even though naturally not so also).

Then too, it's pretty-much impossible answering questions posed by such believing themselves superior to all other Americans, and especially since quite foolishly believing that socialism (both foreign and domestic) and more and more of American Taxpayer Monies put into most everything will resolve eveything,...and just like their political counterparts or Soulmates in France normally do.

And besides, THOSE (re. Devout: "Democrat/Socialists/Leftists posing as Liberals") whose only historical answers to most all ailing America (ironically most caused during about a-half-century of Democrat Rule & Control) are normally bashings, demeanings and character assassinations everyone Republican/Conservative and/or anything quite sensible, practical and logical doing for The American Citizenry ALONE (foreigners excluded),...don't actually deserve any answers from Honest Americans.

So then, and since talking about Veterans by Veterans here, I would suggest that You Blue do any questioning of Gimpy and his quite politically bent associates,...about The VA. Such would certainly make a-helluva-lot more sense. Be more honest also.

You could ask: Since Bush and Administration recently increased The VA Budget by about $20 BILLION (largest single increase in American History), what's-the-big-deal about the supposed(?) or theoretical(?) One Billion in discrepancies, since no doubt future REPUBLICAN INCREASES will always be much higher than any such that could ever be possibly received from Democrats?

I personally never got as low a monthly increase from any President than I did while The VA was ruled under Carter and later Clinton.
Also, most should already know that Republicans are more so Military and Veteran-friendly in general anyway,...than were/are mostly foreigner-favoring type politicos like Democrat Carter and Democrat Clintons.

It could also be rightfully asked: Why didn't you Dems: "Filibuster" and/or obstruct (The Democrat Norm) The VA Budget if was so-damn-BAD(???) in the first place?
The Dems certainly had/have enough DNC Obedient type propagandists: "On-The-Pad", on Governmental Committees and/or in The U.S. Congress to do just that,...if "They" REALLY believed that The VA Budget was so-damn-BAD(???).

Default A-HA!

Rightwingnut reinforcements have arrived at last Sir Blue, Recon to the Rescue!

To further cloud and use misinformatiom and outright BullShit to advance their pitiful, nonsensical, meaningless and insignificant, baseless arguement(s)!

You guys make me sick!

If YOU........of ALL people..........VETERANS..........can't SEE through the BULL$HIT of this President and his crooked and disfunctional cohorts in his administration. And, BELIEVE the honorable, and TRUTHFUL leaders of the DAV, VFW, American Legion, AMVETS, Retired Military Oficers Association, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Vietnam Veterans of America, etc., etc......then just WHO in the HELL do YOU think is LYING, HUH???

Give me a freakin break.................It's "veterans" like YOU that we could do without! We've got ENOUGH "enemies" already.......we need some "partners" and "support" in this battle........NOT FURTHER ROADBLOCKS like YOU'RE helping Bush build!

If this were a Democratic President doing this crap you BOTH would be SCREAMING FOR HIS DAMN HEAD on a STICK!

And, Neil....................Sorry, but you're WRONG again (nothing new there though, huh? ) the "LOWEST" raise we EVER got was under Ronald Reagan in the mid-1980's...........one year we got NO RAISE AT ALL!

I do not need "rescue."

You, Gimpy, have stated that I am an enemy of Veterans. You also have put the word Veterans in quotation marks associated with me.

That's takin' things one step too far.

I know there is a lot of anger in ye. I used to have that too.

Best leave that to those more capable of handling it.

Haven't seen anything that would give me cause to believe anything else.

Default Look

my friend.................Until YOU and RECON and some other folks WAKE THE HELL UP and help fight this "battle" to secure what's fair and just for ALL retired, disabled, sick & injured military veterans and their dependents.......you'll have to live with that FACT!

Until YOU and HIM and the thousands of others with your heads stuck in the proverbial sands of lies, deception and misinformation being distributed by Bush and his cronies, and understand they are HURTING US instead of HELPNG US like they promised in 2000 and 2004...............you are PART OF THE DAMN PROBLEM......NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION!

And THAT'S A FACT............JACK! Live with it.........OR get the hell out of OUR WAY so WE can get it FIXED!

I am, to the best of personal ability, fully "awake."

As for being "happy now" (back to topic), I am, more or less.

I'll be more content when we finally do win this 50-year war against Terrorists, at home and abroad.

Surely could use your expert help on that count.

p.s.
It ain't "thousands" of us... it's millions and millions.

If you ARE "happy now" with regards to the "topic" of the original post then you confirm the truthfulness of my arguement(S). Either you guys really DON'T give a $hit about Veterans rights, benefits and health care..........or you're ALL so delusional you need to see a licensed physician to get medications and therapy to bring you back into the world of reality!-----Gimp

What does THIS have to do with the "original topic"???---Gimp

Surely could use your expert help on that count.

Likewise...............on the "Original Topic"!.....Gimp

Naw...............I surely don't believe there are THAT many others out there like you and Recon who've abandoned and deserted our brothers and sisters by allowing Bush and his croines to continue their relentless pursuit to undermine and neglect their EARNED benefits and health care!

If so.................we'll get them to "change" that position in the very near future to restore HONOR, INTEGRITY, AND COMMITTMENT to the VA funding levels so the MILLIONS & MILLIONS of deserving military veterans and their families can get their just dues that the Bush administration is failing to provide!

Default Which troops?

Supporting Which Troops?

Posted 06/28/2005 by Ari Bermam

By now, it should be obvious that the "pro-defense" party doesn't give a damn about our troops, least of all veterans.

House Republicans ousted (kicked him out) fellow conservative Chris Smith as chairman of the Committee on Veterans Affairs for his tireless advocacy of veterans rights.

Current Chairman Steve Buyer was promoted, in the words of one Republican aide, "to tell the veterans groups, 'Enough is enough.'"

Senate Republicans have repeatedly voted down funding increases for vets to keep pace with inflation and meet rising needs.

The Bush Administration tried to add an enrollment fee and double the prescription co-payment for VA health care.

And now the VA admits it is $1 billion short on health care funding for this year alone.

After months of dodging Congressional questioning, VA undersecretary for health Jonathan Perlin finally gave the House VA Committee an unexpectedly honest answer last week. It turns out the $1.6 billion spending increase promised last year has been a matter of accounting trickery, achieved by shifting money from one account to another, and cutting almost $1 billion for medical administration, facilities and prosthetic research.

After the testimony, irate Republican Senator Larry Craig joined his Democratic colleague Patty Murray in demanding emergency funds from the Bush Administration. "We're going to pound them like hell 'till we get them," Craig said of VA hearings scheduled this week. "Then we'll make some judgments."

Before Senate Republicans voted down Murray's plan to adequately pay for VA health care, for the second time in two months last April, VA Secretary Jim Nicholson promised the Senate he had the resources required.

"I can assure you that VA does not need emergency supplemental funds in FY2005 to continue to provide the timely, quality service that is always our goal," Nicholson (lying Bastard!----Gimp) wrote in a letter to Republican Kay Bailey Hutchison.

The understaffed hospitals, lengthy waits, red tape and frequent complains seemed to be a figment of the Democratic imagination .

At a time when VA funding is 25 percent lower than it was 5 years ago (adjusted for inflation), Murray's amendment would've provided badly needed funds for mental health treatment, new veterans and local clinics.

Instead, the $80 billion supplemental for military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the $2.6 trillion Senate Budget Resolution for 2006 denies full quality treatment to returning and current vets.

The 13,000 soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan since March 2003, 30 percent of whom return with post traumatic stress disorder or other psychological problems, can't even get a little help from their Republican friends.

"The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional as to how they perceive the Veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their country." George Washington said that in 1789.

AMEN Brother! AMEN!
