I was reading an article today that stated NATO had no intelligence service. Nothing central to its core such as the CIA or similar services. I wonder how they get anything done...

NATO has a lot of member countries, who I think all have their own intelligence services, should be enough I guess

Dutchmil I agree it should be but I think most of the countries still hold much intelligence in reserve. I guess I don't really long for the day when they do consolidate an agency as that agency will probably be the most powerful the world has ever seen and may become a danger to any world citizen depending on how it is run.

Back in '85, in a war games exercise with NATO, we had to get NATO clearances in addition to the DOD clearances we already had.
Go figure!
