Ridiculous
12-16-2023
Personal Opinions First of all, and some of you are not going to like this very much, but oil is not pumped out of a bottomless barrel! There is a finite limit as to just how much oil our ‘Earth’ contains, and when that is exhausted (Ebon-Uncas so to speak) – then that is all folks! However, it is also obvious (at least to me) that for us to not take full-advantage of the massive deposits of “Mother Nature’s Black-Gold” and this while we are still in the cat-bird’ seat is pure (and absolute) bull shit! In short, “To Hell with the Rest of The World” for a change, we do not elect presidents by virtue of their word and handshakes alone, and this without counting our fingers afterwards! Once again people – “We Are the Mighty United States Of America” and our needs “Should & Must Come First – BOTTOM LINE!!” And to ‘ANY’ bureaucrat who places the demands of the rest of the world above the dictates of our very own (tax-paying) people, I say: “Bull Crap - And Get Thee Gone!” And for the record – The words “WE THE PEOPLE” should (and must) be continuously drilled deeply into the heads of nearly every politician - and this, even before they are allowed to sit ‘their back-sides down’ within “The People’s Seat of Government!!” (hrt-12/16/23) Hardcore

Oil questions & possible alternatives or subsitutes - see below
How many years worth of oil does the US have in reserve?
Oil Reserves in the United States - are not unlimited! (see below): The United States has proven reserves equivalent to 4.9 times its annual consumption. This means that, without imports, there would be about 5 years of oil left (at current consumption levels and excluding unproven reserves). [Also; How much of the oil reserves has bin depleted to date?] Biden's administration sold off more than 40 percent of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve last year to help limit rising fuel prices after Russia invaded Ukraine, leaving the stockpile at its lowest levels since the early 1980s. - [But note this statement: How many years of oil is left in the world? Reply: Approx 47 years of World Oil Reserves] A reply by me: Alarming wouldn't you say? Only a contra-dictional statement:? - Who has the largest untapped oil reserves in the world? Interestingly, even though it is nowhere near the top, a report indicates that the U.S. has the largest untapped oil reserves in the world, surpassing even Saudi Arabia!Nov 13, 2023 [Black Gold 'as its called' needs a better answer or substitute fuel. - Note!- Fossil fuels: The World's Oil Ocean Review: https://worldoceanreview.com › wor-1 › energy › foss... In 2007 1.4 billion tonnes of oil, the equivalent of about 37 per cent of annual oil production, was derived from the ocean. The proportion of offshore .. [Currently the conventional oil reserves – i.e. those which can be recovered easily and affordably using today's technology – are estimated to be a good 157 billion tonnes. Of this amount, 26 per cent (41 billion tonnes) are to be found in offshore areas. - It's estimated that all known oil-deposits will run out by ~ 2052. Realistically, we may never run out of oil because, given the depth of the Earth's core, there will be new wells to discover. That said, it's highly likely that the practice of mining such depths will become economically unviable. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once oil goes it's either nuclear or sun-powered. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
