Talking 2006 hunting

Well boys it looks like I'll have a full freezer this fall. My son and I drew Deer Doe tags for the area around our new home on the Satsop River. I will hunt bucks until the last weekend then if I'm still without game I'll pop a barren doe. Yum Yum.

My hunting fell through this season, The lady is re-something to her ranch. I have to find a different spot,
If nothing eles all I have to do is ride the roads in Texas. In the morning there are a lot of deer along side the road from the night before, Don't bother me none having deer road kill. I hope it wont come to that. Good luck.

Default Have my Elk Tag

And Mule Deer tag for colorado and 12 yes count them 12 tags for georgia, 10 does and 2 bucks. BUT if you shoot a deer from a wildlife management area it dosen't count against your tag.

Applied for a elk cow tag and got it for this year. Bill (the oldest son) is a colorado resident so he applied for bull tag and bear tag. Since we hunt together it is wide open. We have cow and bull elk, bear and mule deer. Youngest son, Phillip is being transfered to Alaska in August so maybe there will be a big bear hunt in the future. Of course I'll need a 325 WSM for that hunt.

Default Forgot to mention

We got feral hogs year round but it is to hot to hunt them in the summer. Was down looking at some swamp property a couple of weeks ago and saw several hogs one of which was 400 lbs + (estimated). Big black russian wild hogs. Yummy.

There was a story around here a few years ago about decoy deer along the roads in fields that the state would put out to catch folks shooting deer from their trucks.....caught a lot of folks as I recall.
