Default Let's get down

to the main attraction a litte less talk and a lot more action

congress.org/

couldn't be any easier folks. Check it out. All the issues are on the home page. Scroll down and pick one. Vet issues are all there if you want your voice heard pass this on to every Vet you know with a computer and then invite your Vet friends that don't have one over and let them log on too. Then have your wife or significant other pass it on to her friends and family. Each one teach/reach one concerning what is happening to those that stand up for freedom and end up on the short end of the stick when they come home. It is a national disgrace the lack of concern for Vet care while we continue to put the best we have in harms way. To few are paying to big of price for to many. Where I come from it's called bullshit and we are knee deep in it. Let's quit talkin and do something about it. End of rant. little sparrow

Thumbs up

"End of rant."? I don't think so. You're just taking a breath.

Yes, it's time to pull up our boots and wade in again. Thanks for the reminder. If we don't fight for what was promised, we will never get it.

Off to the political wars...

Default DAV.org

is another good site to find out about current concerns & legislative measures affecting Veterans and their dependents.

These sites (as the one Sparrow has mentioned) offer pre-written "form" letters that can be E-mailed to your Congresspersons & Senators & the Whitehouse. But, if the infantry taught me one thing it was to "fire for effect"---the BEST way to get their "attention" is to take the time to WRITE your OWN letter (you can use the form letter on these sites as a guide) and send it by SNAIL MAIL (U.S. Postal service) to their address in Washington AND their office in your State.

These guys(and gals) seem to be frightened a bit more by someone that does this AND E-mails them a letter rather than JUST the E-mail.
