Last week we reported that organizers of a day-long tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11 at the University of California- Berkeley, planned on excluding "The Star Spangled Banner" as "too patriotic, divisive, and political." Also to be excluded , "God Bless America" not only because
it is patriotic, but because it mentions God. To prevent the exclusion of those who don't believe in the American flag , there was to be no tribute to the flag, which Jessica Quindel, president of the Graduate Assembly said "Has become a
symbol of U.S. aggression towards other countries." Quindel said she hated the flag, but that she was still patriotic stating, "It depends on your definition of patriotic."
Now, in an article in FrontPage Magazine titled "How Not to Remember 9/11:
Cornell's Day of Disgrace" , student Joseph Sabia reports that at
Cornell's Sept. 11 Memorial Covocation there was no reference to patriotism or pride in America, no reference to the West as the world's best hope for freedom, and no mention of the evil that Islamists had perpetrated on innocent Americans.
Also, the ceremony was devoid of any display of the American flag, except for a few held by a group of College Republicans. Wrote Sabia, "Any reasonable minded student had to feel trapped in a time warp, taken back to the 1960's anti-war era."
He's right. Cornell has joined Berkeley in marching again with the
flag of the Viet Cong.

Said Professor Magruder, President of Vietnam Veterans for Academic Reform, "The evil that is spreading across America on our campuses, which this time includes a massive resurgence of anti-Semitism by 'liberal' faculty, is absolutely a repeat of the 60's, when students marched with the flag of the Viet Cong and mailed them supplies of blood, while insisting on
their patriotism. Even as 58,000 of their own countrymen were giving their lives to bring freedom to the South Vietnamese people, those who wouldn't serve insisted on their patriotism as they cheered on Communist tyranny and genocide.And, as in the case of the 60's, students are once again heavily parroting the views of their faculty, primarily in the humanities and the social sciences. These disciplines went morally bankrupt when the dream of Enlightment rational autonomy crashed into the nihilistic abyss of postmodernism. Misery loving company they now want to take us all into that abyss with them. They will do this by using students to create a polarization that will paralyze the nation in an hour of crisis, as happened in the case of Vietnam.
The following is to help students get a clearer picture of the true
situation and encourage them to try to save themselves by joining the rest of America in the war on terrorism. Once again, the professors and the media are leaving them totally in the dark. It is unbelievable, but true, that in the face of the worst threat to mankind in its history, the American media has not produced one program, one series, educating the American people as to the
facts about the international terrorist organization Al Qaeda.

The following material is from the most important and best
researched book on terrorism, "Al Qaeda: Brotherhood of Terror", by Paul L. Williams, consultant on international terrorism for the FBI. Apart from the references to government reports, we make no claims with regard to the accuracy of this passage.

" In August 1998 bin Laden paid 10 million to a middle man in
Kazakhstan to make a deal to buy nuclear suitcases from former KGB agents. According to Russian and and U.S. intelligence sources, bin Laden , along with members of
Al Qaeda's Shura Council , met with Chechen Mafia figures (including former KGB agents) in Grozny, Chechnya, where they made the deal to purchase 20 nuclear suitcases. For these bin Laden paid $30 million, in a combination of cash and two types of heroin that had been refined in his laboratories.
With a street value of $700 million. As designed, the nuclear suitcases could only be operated by SPETNAZ (Soviet Secial Forces) personnel. For that reason Al Queda recruited former SPETNAZ troops to work on the project as technicians.
To overcome the technical problems of coded transmissions for the activation of the bombs , the Al Qaeda scientists came up with a way of hot-wiring the bombs to the bodies of soldiers seeking immediate martyrdom.
These weapons are suitcase -size nuclear devices. Placed in the
center of a major metropolitan area one of them is capable of killing several hundred thousand civilians while exposing millions of others to lethal gamma rays.
How real is the threat of nuclear suitcases ? Very real. "There is no longer much doubt that bin Laden has succeeded in his quest for nuclear suicide bombs," says Yossef Bodansky, who headed the Congressional Task Force on Nonconventional Terrorism in Washington , D.C. His statement is supported by former Russian security chief General Alexander Lebel to the U.S.
House of Representatives. Lebel said that 40 nuclear suitcases had disappeared from the Russian arsenal after the collapse of the Soviet Union. After the catastrophe of Sept. 11, 2001, a federal official said, "The question isn't whether bin Laden has nuclear weapons, it's when he will try to use them."
A study called "Terrorism 2000", conducted a year before Sept.
11, was prepared by the Office of Defense Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict along with experts on terrorism that included Major General Oleg Kalugin, former KGB head, a senior official from Israel's Mossad, Brian Jenkins of the international security company, Kroll Associates, and Paul Wilkerson of the Univ. of Scotland, the world's foremost expert on terrorist
attacks. The report was presenteed to the CIA, the FBI, the National Security Administration, the State Department, and the Defense Intelligence Agency and stated the following:
1) Weapons of mass destruction, thanks to the Russian Mafia, are now in the hands of Islamic terrorist groups who are planning attacks on the United States.
2) Islamic terrorists , rather than bombing a single target , prefer
simultaneous bombings and acts of carnage.
3) The terrorists will engage in mass killing with chemical,
biological, and radiological weapons.
4) Terrorists will communicate with Internet and cellular telephones, making it impossible to isolate their whereabouts, let alone infiltrate their base of operations.
5) Religious zealotry will give rise to concurrent waves of
mass-casualty operations.

And what does Al Qaeda want to do? They want to kill you. They want to kill every man , woman ,and child in the United States. And what are their overall goals?
1) To radicalize existing Islamic groups throughout the world.
2) To overthrow all Muslim governments that have become apostate (that is, moderate)
3) The destruction of the State of Israel , for its conquest of
Jerusalems's Al Aqsa mosque and its occupation of Palestine
4) The destruction of the United States for enabling Israel's
occupation of Palestine, and for 'defiling' Islams holiest shrines, Mecca and Medina by the presence of its troops in Saudi Arabia.
5)The abolition of all national borders between Islamic states.
6) The union of all Muslims in the creation of an international Muslim government , that is, the general thrust of this particular brand of Islam, Wahhabism , to conquer and rule the entire world, forcing all mankind to face Mecca.

Al Qaeda was founded on the premise that it will not compromise,
it will not negotiate, it will not surrender, however long it takes,
however hard the fight, and whatever the losses.Nor can conventional methods of deterrence - capture, arrest, trial, imprisonment, or humiliation, injury or death - protect the West from suicide terrorism. We are up against a people who are trained to give their lives to bring a nuclear weapon into your
home town.

FEMA: Preparing for Mass Destruction Attacks on Cities.

" FEMA, the federal agency charged with disaster preparedness , is engaged in a crash effort to prepare for multiple mass destruction attacks on U.S. cities, including the creation of sprawling temporary cities to handle millions of displaced persons.
The agency has already notified vendors, contractors, and consultants that it needs to be prepared to handle the logistics of aiding millions of displaced Americans who will flee from urban areas that may be attacked.
The agency plans to create emergency , makeshift cities that could house hundreds of thousands , if not millions, of American who may have to flee their urban homes if their cities are attacked. Ominously, FEMA has been given a deadline of having the cities ready by January 2003, in about 6 months."

Henceforth, we want professors who speak out against the war on terrorism to come out of their cubicles and publicly debate what they are telling students with members of Truth Squads made up of Vietnam veterans, ready to show students the parallel between the betrayal of Vietnam by the campus in
the 60's, and the buildup to another betrayal growing on campuses today.
Those who opposed the Vietnam War cowered so long in the classroom to avoid the battlefield that they became tenured professors turning our universities into propaganda machines for philosophies clearly hostile to democracy and traditional American values .
This makes the university the most dangerous internal force in
America.
It has lost the ability to distinguish right from wrong, good from
evil, and can only offer a flabby moral equivalence that cannot deal with the crisis.
This is the same reason why the university was so na?ve about Vietnam, it didn't understand the moral difference between Democracy and Communism.
To illustrate how out of contact with reality academics once again
are, a poll at Chico State, California found 89 % of the student body in support of President Bush?s policy on terrorism, as are the vast majority of Americans, while 79 % of the faculty were on the side of appeasement as they were in the 60?s. The truth is , the university is now practically at war with the rest of America. Following the tragedy of Sept. 11 universities are spreading the same type of lies the 60?s protestors did in their betrayal of
South Vietnam, charging that America is immoral, racist, genocidal, and imperialistic, and that we therefore deserved what happened on Sept. 11. They used the same words to argue that we deserved to lose in Vietnam..
