Our Nation Just Has To Come First – and only a damn old fool could ever believe otherwise! Or are you still one of those eternal optimists who yet believe in fairytales and political hogwash? But no great nation that has ever existed has ever risen to the top by pandering to the demands of other bastions of humanity, or places that have proven their inability to function, to perform, to advance, and even to progress!

But apparently, mankind has always failed to grasp this axiom of human survival? And in his headlong plunge into the future, he still holds onto his dreams of utopia and world peace, along with the united survival of our entire species – what a truly magnificent (though painfully flawed) concept this is!

First of all, and like it or not, mankind is literally the only species of life that has been at war with itself ever since day #1! And history has proven that, unless we develop some magical pill - this is not likely to change any time in the near future either? So I guess that you can say that with all of our ever-advancing smarts, we are still doomed to eventual oblivion, because the more advanced some of us become, the dumber we all seem to get!

And even with all of these politicians with their myriad of degrees and money, I have never quite figured out any way to circumvent the hatred and hostility that eats away at the human spirit and soul! And without some elusive earthy panacea, we are all doomed to suffer the pangs of eventual oblivion? But then, no one has ever listened (or genuinely acted upon) this redundant rhetoric over the past several millennia, so why should they all begin now? And once again, and I put this query to you personally- “What Fools Do We Mortals Continue To Be!”

HC - Only God knows what's next for our generation after we blow up the planet.

Mankind - is his own worst enemy and there's no doubt of it.

Like all before them - the issues have progressed - but with only limited results
for their futures.
-
We have a limited history left the way we are going. Maybe the next come
around of humans (if we're so lucky) - can resolve these issues of the day
and bury the past once again?

I'm not a doomsayer - but the history path we are on of late - leaves little
doubt that we will destroy this generation - with our waring materials -
and if I'm right - the survivor's won't be anything like we've become - of today.

I don't favor insurrections. The only way to correct the path we're on - is to rid
ourselves of the heavy handed dead wood in our governments. All around the
world - and take away all their toys - of destruction.

M.A.D. is already in play - all around the globe. Those leaders who have
the absolute power & control over their people - has proven to many this
is not a good way to run a country.

HC - your post above is very poignet - and point out with an outline with
a great deal of thought!

The challenges to right the system will have to take heavy handed
political consideration to bring it to fruition! Hopefully not another
insurrection (but it may come to that - God help us!).

I suspect that: By giving one absolute leaway to call the shots for the
record; must be given great thought - and require's one - that regards
our civil humanity - and continues on a path of righteousness - thereby
making human advancements - instead of causing rebellions.

To do otherwise we will continue down the road to chaos and rebellions.

The Constitution of this country of ours - has taken a backseat at times
for other's to say what's right or wrong. It needs more definitions or
examples of the same - to be so written - to indicate wrong doing.

The Judges in all cases can not be swayed by those who appointed
them - regardless of favoritism. The Rule-of-Law must be firm and
those given the power - to eliminate corruptions of such - must not
favor those who elected them to their post!

Or the law will have to be altered to prevent favoritism towards those
who elected by them - as so stated above - once more.

Personal note: Moving in on 80 before long and seeing these displays of
improper governmental operations' in the White House & Congress is
disturbing to the public.

These are our representatives from voter's in their states. However once
in office they are manipulated by old timer's to fall in line or fall behind.
It's where I feel two terms max - must be made for them as well.
The old wood just doesn't seem to be as sharp as they were in their
younger years. They've been taught to favor their parties not their
people or personal thoughts on the subject. This relates to many
disappointing passage of bills of significance at times.

Again these are just my thoughts of an old man who's just about seen
everything in my life - but the insurrection took the cake. I hope to
never see these issues again. Those that feel its ok - are out of
line - and should be suspended. Clean up your House's and do what's
right for the people - not for your personal party gains.
