Just You Think About It For A Moment

Once upon a time, a man (any real man) was judged upon his abilities, his talents, and his drive, or were they? Well at eighty-three years of age, I have learned that in some cases (maybe many cases) this is pure bull-crap!

Some Cases in Point:

Some years back, I had a very highly decorated individual approach me, with a tear in his eye, lamenting how he just could not get anyone to pen his story, and how, even at an advanced age, he literally pined to have his story told! Well, to make a long story short, I swallowed this bull-crap and wrote, what I felt to be a fairly-decent book for him, first as a biography, and then as an auto-biography, only to be later told by this creature that (and I quote) “Now, he taking the whole damned thing, as it should have been my honor to even be asked by such an individual, to write his book!?’

Now I am but a poor man with very limited means, who lives with his family in a run-down and old rented trailer, Whereas, the individual in question, was fairly affluent, with a several-hundred acre spread, as well as all of the other accoutrements that go along with it! And yet this person had the audacity to later chalk-up his actions to (and again I quote) “Just Good Business!?”

Now I do not know if that book, was ever published, but it is still my personal opinion, that anyone who even attempts such a low, underhanded and dastardly ploy, is not worthy of the glory that they have been gifted with – and once again, these are but my own personal opinions! And to those who volunteer their own limited honor to come to the defense of any thief, let me say that any creature that even aids in such a vile attempt to screw-over a fellow human being will, once again in my opinion, also burn in “The Fires of Hades?”

And so it is, for no medal, nor even accolade of any kind, will ever grant absolution to a thief or his cohorts!! (And one more time, these are but my own personal opinion?!)

I don't many searching for glory - only those that suffer the stress
of not being employed any more. That hurts. Saving's are quickly
used up and sure as hell something in the house or the cars breaks
down and you have to tap your savings to get things fixed.

It happens come hell or high water. You can only hope for the
best and do what you can under those circumstances.

I know I'm going through it myself. The cost of living hasn't
really dropped to keep many from not being able to make
ends meet!
