Dang California kids, they just gotta rub it in don't they. I had -21F again on Sun morning. It got all the way up to 12 above on Sat. however. So what did I do? I stood on a frozen lake looking down an 8" hole waiting for the fish to come to me.

Saturday while Drywall was out looking for frozen dinner, I was fighting a machine shed fire. Not fun. Lost the shed and four tractors inside. Was pretty much gone by the time we received the call.

Today, with wind chills reaching -20F, we were called to a barn fire. We managed to get the cows out, but after fighting the fire for almost five hours, deceided that we could not beat the wind and fire. had my partner fall from the roof as we were trying to cut vent hole and broke seven ribs and left wrist.

It has been a very hard, long day.
