A little chilly this morning, but it is going around 65 today....

The weather here in beautiful Texas is mid 60's and clear this morning, but warming all the way up to 80 by mid-afternoon. Of course they're predicting 90's by the weekend, so I guess our summer is just about here. Great biking weather, so all you Harley riders c'mon down. you rice-burner riders can still up north and enjoy the snow a while longer .ain't nothing like the south for riding weather. We get our seasons down this way too; January 01 - Januatry 15 = winter, January 16 - April 15 = spring, April 16 - November 01 = summer and November 02 - December 31 = fall. Average snowfall in southern Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama and Florida = None !

Been gone all week.

Don't worry the weather will get warmer for you guys back east. We have had beautiful weather all week out here. Except for the wind here in Ellensburg the weather is great.

It is so windy in Ellensburg that all the trees lean to the east. And, that is no joke. In the spring and early summer we average 20 - 30 mph winds all day long. All the cowboys in Ellensburg wear chin strings or they lose their hats. Even the big fifteen foot flags flying over the motels stand straight out.

Glad the coffee is on.

I became a grandpa for the first time a 7 pm last night. My daughter gave birth to a 6 lb 6 oz baby girl. Named her Isabell. Mother, daughter and father all doing fine. Not to sure about grandma though. Coffee, rolls and cigars on me. I'll pop for a few rounds at the saloon later on.
