A certified public accountant made $2,000 a year while a dentist made $2,500, a veterinarian between $1,500 and $4,000 and a mechanical engineer made $5,000. 95% of all births happened in the parents home. 90% of all doctors had no college education but some of that percentage went to medical schools of which the majority were condemned by the government to be 'substandard.' Sugar was $.04 a pound. Most women washed their hair once a month and used an egg and Borax a their shampoo. Canada banned poor people by law from entering the country for any reason. The five leading causes of death were; 1) pneumonia or the flu 2) tuberculosis 3) diarrhea 4) heart deseases 5) stroke There were 45 stars on the flag. LasVegas had a population of 30 according to its most recent cencus. Mothers Day and Fathers Day didn't exist. 20% of the population of America couldn't read or write. Only 6% of the people graduated from high school. Marijuana, heroin, and morphine were perscription drugs at the local drug store and heroine was prescribed to regulate stomach and bowels. 18% of all American homes had full time servants. There was 230 "reported" murders for the year in the entire nation America's "Net Worth" was $30.3 billion. That includes property value and the assets on that property within Americas borders. The American National Budget was $8 hundred thousand while our "National Debt" which included the debt of the individual States was $5.8 million owed outside of the American borders. The democratically elected governments of America owed over 7 times more than Congress had budgeted for the year.
