If I am hearing correctly, Hussein is ordering his forces to form a protective circle around Baghdad, Iraq?s capital city. This is similar to the mentality that the Soviets employed in defense (of at least one) of their major cities, back during World War II, over 60 years ago!

Moats of flaming oil, missiles in fixed positions and the ?Accursed Republican Guard? will protect this perimeter, according to Iraqi military and media reports, for what they are worth?!

?Hussein, no amount of smoke and chest-thumping on your part, is going to hide your moth-ridden carcass from the technological eyes and superb military forces of our Uncle Sam and the coalition, so forget it!!?

We will also have the opportunity to see how much of your ordnance escaped our detection back in '91, as well as how much armament a scant few of our allies (?) have illegally furnished you with since then?!

Splendid says I, as with all of their (Iraq?s) eggs in but a single basket, we will have no problem finding and eliminating them! The technology in our possession today, will make short work of Mr. Hussein (opinion), and ?IF? the Republican Guard sees fit not join their compatriots in the ?Regular Iraqi Army? in doing the wise thing (surrender), after they witness technological horrors that they have never even dreamed of, then Mr. Hussein?s days will be in short supply! Hussein will be close at hand for his own people to deal with, if we don?t catch them all (Saddam included) first!?

So carry on ?Saddam Old Chap?, your burial (in many pieces) will be a thing to behold! And if by chance, you find yourself in proximity of one of our 21,000 lb. MOAB?s (Mudda-Farker Of All Bombs), well then burying what is left of you will be academic, won't it!?
