How about those KY kids in the World Series!!
I really enjoyed last weekend watching those Little Leaguer's.
I sure do remember those days when I used to do the sand lot games. It sure brought back memories. I salute those kids they beat Asia fair and square. This is what America is - these kids and playing ball. Good Job Guy's Boats

watched it too
Being a baseball junkie I watched several of the games (Massachusetts beat New York). It was great watching the kids knowing they were doing it for the love of the game. Keep hearing in the back ground of my mind, "If you build it, they will come."
Also, over the weekend the Boston Red Sox did something nice. One game a year, since Ted Williams helped start it, they play a game and the proceeds go the The Jimmy Fund. That's a local thing, the Jimmy Fund helps fight cancer in kids. The '67 Sox were in the world series and donated a share of their extra money to the Fund. Saturday's game featured more than a dozen of the players from that season and a few dozen people who as kids had their lives saved because of the Jimmy Fund. (Saturday raised over $300,000.) A few more acts like that and less talk about strikes and maybe baseball will live. Anyway, my hat's off to the kids from Ky. especially their pitcher. Stay healthy, Andy |

I watched alot of the games and was deeply touched by the honesty and sincerity of the kids. They`re out there playing in the game of thier life time,in front of huge crowds, and wearing thier hearts on thier sleeves.I LOVED IT! Hope the major-leaguers took a lesson from the youngsters.

Wouldn't it be great if . . . . . .
Professional Sports were a thing of the Past. No more World Series, No more Super Bowl, No more Stanley Cup, No more NBA championship.
Just college and high school kids playing for the joy of the game. Wouldn't it be great.!!!! Keith |

As a baseball lover!
It was the best series I've seen in a long long time. That homerun will live in that boy forever no matter what he does in life. Sorry to hear that he is already having shoulder problems, the Pirates could sure use him.
For the love of the game! Packo PS Keith, I am begining to believe your way......keep it all amature and Minor League. Much more fun!
