We Really Have No Idea
7-13-2019
So why does Earth’s apex predator (mankind) really believe that it is the alpha and the omega of all evolutionary creations? Don’t we realize yet that we are but a single little element in a vast and forever changing universal sea of wonders? And alas, everything has its own particular place upon the “Self-Perceived” scale of importance, and maybe that, in itself, is what is “Frightening the Living-Hell Out Of Us All” – the realization that within “The Big Picture”, we are truly but a little speck of insignificant cosmic material? Could it possibly be that we, and all of our creations, are but a globule of useless material that is being held together by mere fear and superstition? And is warfare our only means of thinning-out our own ranks, until that day finally arrives (if it ever does) when we are capable of really administering our own affairs? “Or Is Mankind Truly A Work In Progress, and one that is self-terminating in the end?” (food for thought) Hardcore
