When I was a senior in high school, Sandra Dee came to San Antonio, and I accompanied a reporter for our HS yearbook to interview her. I took a couple of 35mm slide shots of her, and she autographed a b/w give-away photo, that I still have stuck in some drawer somewhere. My second senior year wasn't as eventful.

RIP Gidget and the Girl most folks now remember from the song in the Movie "Grease" "Look at Me I'm Sandra Dee" Sandy now joins a host of stars from the Fifties like James Dean in celluloid heaven. She will never be forgotten Because she became synonymous with goodness and purity in the Motion Picture industry.
