Political Placebos

If a family member of mine is correct and any calls that I made to The White House and Our President are a waste of time, a placebo or an exercise in futility, then I am guilty as charged!

The President maintains telephone numbers so that “The People of The United States” can contact “Him” with their concerns, or so I was led to believe? Mr. Trump is, after all but one person out of the “310,000,000 Patriotic American Souls” that inhabit “This Land of Ours” and outside of his billionaire status and celebrity standing, he is still no different than any other loyal and dedicated American Citizen or so, once again, I was led to believe?

He is, however, accountable to us all, each and every one! And “We the People” should not, and must not, be subjected to any vestigial presidency, one in which the people themselves are just numbers and votes, and nothing more?

We have the right and the duty to sound off, “within the law”, when something strikes us as being wrong, as this man (President Trump) works for us, and not the other way around!

So when I was told that “NONE” of what I or any other “Loyal American” has to say, actually gets beyond some staffer and to his ears, then my feelings of frustration and personal uselessness begin to mount expediently! For I (we) are Americans, and as such, we are entitled to call upon “any” of our honorable employees, when an extremely pressing problem within that government needs an answer, do you not agree?
