“Do any of you, even those who were alive away back then, fully realize the magnitude of what has happened in the last seventy-five or so years?” In reality, however, time has truly sped-ahead at a rocket’s pace, especially when compared to those decades that preceded the terminus of World War Two!

And yet, through all of these decades, and more, mankind has been nearly oblivious to the actual passage of time and worldly science – and more is the shame! For within that brief span of years - “The Corpuscles of Time Itself” have erupted in an explosion of activity that rivals even the monumental eruptions that roil-up upon the face of our blazing Sun Itself!!

“But, in reality, you can (in theory) extricate the explosive potential from the minds of mankind, but you will never remove the fact that life is, at best, terminal and destined for eventual oblivion - especially if it continues along its present path!

But when you really come to think about it, this is indeed a tragedy of the first order, especially considering the fact that this race of ours is as close to being a worldly god, as this universe may ever see? And we have, after all, spit into the eyes of fate, cracked mysteries that may have been meant to forever remain unsolved, and actually reached up to touch the tears of “The Almighty Himself!”


And yet, and even through all of these miracles of science and engineering, we still are but babes in the woods of time, and we still risk that fatal conflagration of oblivion itself, which promises to be our ultimate nemesis, if that is, we do not advance beyond the truly petty, and finally learn how to journey into this “Brave New World” that mankind has always envisioned as his ultimate reward?

And so it is, and so it may forever be, if that is, “Forever” is to be our final reward? But knowing of mankind’s penchant for mayhem, and predicated upon our own violent past endeavors, the gods of the universe, would also be greatly surprised (opinion) to witness our race survive its own plunge toward ultimate oblivion? “And should that day finally arrive when mankind inevitably does do away with itself, who then, will be around to mourn our passing!?” Certainly not those fools who currently have their feeble and unsteady little fingers perched high atop those fatal buttons of fate!

“And so unfortunately, it may forever remain - even if we ourselves cease to exist as a race of viable worldly beings!?”
