First Time Grandpa
I became a first time Grandpa Halloween night at 7:30. Baby boy, 7 lbs 4 ozs. named Jacob Paul Reardon. Mom and baby are doing great and my son is as proud as can be. The only drawback is that they live in Eugene, Oregon so it looks like I'm going to be making a road trip some time real soon.
Cigars all around.

CONGRATULATIONS!!
I thought I heard some HOOTIN'
 & HOLLERIN'  coming from up around Fairfield. Our best to the proud Mom & Dad, and you're going to LOVE this Grandpa gig. Been there, done that for a few years now.

Ayup. I remeber when my first grandkid was born. I visited with my Mom, and saiud, "Well. How's it feel to be a great grandma?" She gave me that sharp as steel look that only mothers can give and said, "How's it feel to be a grandpa?" Damn. Up til then it just hadn't hit me! I almost hadda sit down fer a minute!
It's a good day, ain't it, bro! Sometimes a feller needs to get his worldview adjusted somewhat! Congratualtions! I'm tellin' ya, it's a good ride yer on. You'll have fun with it, I can guarantee ya!
