?A BUCKET OF MANURE?

?Let?s cut through all of the crap boys and girls? - Here we are in the Land of Milk and
Honey, as well as the Foreign-Aid Bank and Police Force to the world, but how many of
our own kids and elderly are homeless or are going hungry? Also, how many of your
neighbors suffer and maybe die, because they can?t afford decent (if any) medical care, and
how many veterans are still treated like they are the outcasts of their own society? Well
don?t look now, but the good times are fast eroding, as ?Nothing After-All, Is Forever!!?

Of course, none of those overpaid laggards of government and big business are going to
shoulder any of the blame for this pending bust! It was the fault of the last administration,
or what goes around - comes around. right? It?s a natural cycle, or the Stock Market is
just readjusting!? What the hell, let?s blame God for the whole mess, he?s always handy!

In reality, it is we ourselves who are at fault for any (potential) looming disaster! We lived
high off of the hog and continually voted in a bunch of lying deadbeats! And like most
damned fools, we never envisioned the day when it would again be time to pay the piper!
Granted, some in power keep assuring us that all is well on the western front, and that any
reversals are but temporary! ?BUT WHAT IF THEY AIN?T!?? We all know that a
politician will tell us anything that we want to hear! ?They?re pretty much liars when one
strips away the shallow facade and glittering tinsel!? Unfortunately, however, the only
contingency plan in the tarnished bag of government is ?WAR!? You do remember ?War?
don?t you? It?s where a bunch of good, patriotic people get all stirred up by the media,
dress in splendid uniforms, and are then sent out to do battle against the ?Devils of Evil,
for the ?Forces of Finance!? The only problem is, that many a soldier never returns and
those who do, often come back minus body parts or with their sanity severely strained!

?But not to worry, right!?? I mean what the hell, there is always that invisible safety net of
big brother, or that magic wand of the spin doctors of social and political alchemy! And if
all else fails, one can always spend the next few decades fighting the system to attain
veteran?s rights that looked absolutely splendid upon paper! You can?t eat paper can you?

The time to right a problem, is before that problem becomes a calamity. Prior planning is
and not just bureaucratic hype, is the real key to progress. Remember. many a national
charity spent decades raking in huge bucks, and then promptly flipped you the finger when
it was time for them to ante up! Do these cretins of high finance go without in time of
scarcity - Hell No! Even back during the great depression, the trusted souls on top of the
dung heap, feasted on snails and bubbly, while your grandpas ate nothing but air and dirt!

It?s way past time for a wake-up call. Either we wake up the bureaucracy and instruct
them anew on what it is that they are suppose to be doing for a living, or they will again
educate us on what it is to starve and waste away! ?Can?t happen says you??? Well think
again brother, for it has, and it will again!

What really is honor? Is it just a title taken on by those who seek to further an agenda or
to lie their way into a position of respect and trust! Is it a tangible commodity, a way of
life, or merely a subterfuge added to one?s name in order to attain a facade of quality that
it?s wearer may (or may not) not be entitled to?

Many in this world adorn themselves with this title of honor, and by doing so, cheapen or
sully it?s true meaning. For honor is not a label alone, but is rather a way of life. One
brewed in an environment of truth, genuine integrity, respect (for self and others), and of
course, it is a daily way of life! Not a momentary whim, mind you, nor a quickly passing
fancy, but rather a credo that can neither be eroded nor tarnished by expedience!

And what of some of those who incessantly claim honor as their own! Are they highly
motivated, honest or splendidly decorated with the awards of man? Are their names
known far and wide, do they wine and dine with celebrities, or parade their finery while
demanding respect that may not be theirs to claim! ?Far too many do, unfortunately!!?

And does election or appointment to a high post or position automatically insure ?Honor??
Does a fist full of gold or 20 pieces of silver infuse your soul with ?Honor?? Does the
accolades of your peers alone, instill ?Honor? within your inner being? Is ?Honor? a thing
that a person earns but once, and then milks throughout an entire life time? Or is it a day
by day endeavor, earned and paid for with every breath and every step that one takes
throughout life? ?Ah yes, there it is!!?

No liar, not even those who dwell within positions of trust, be they bedecked with brass,
or dripping in jewels, can falsely claim the title of ?Honor.? No more so in fact, than a
polecat can usurp the title of bouquet! For a liar can infest every aspect and avenue of life,
even from the UN to the bureaucracy, and from mansion to back alley! His stench may not
always be obvious, but the damage he (or she) does far outlive their mortal coil! We have
all run into such creatures, as it is impossible not to in today?s world, and the higher
placed some of these beasts may be, the more lasting damage they can inflict!

All, of course, justify their sordid dealings through excuses and lies. ?It?s just good
business or acceptable politics, or it?s for the greater good, or everyone is doing it and it is
expected of me?, are splendidly corrupt examples of these arts of human deception! These
lies, however, are but vicious fantasies, often utilized by those who falsely insist that they
are indeed people of honorable! But in reality, these individuals are accursed, stained and
hollow! ?And after all is said and done, the only person that they are truly fooling is
themselves!?
