It Doesn't Necessarily Follow

“Non sequitur” (it doesn’t necessarily follow) seems to be the order of the day, especially within politics! As a matter of fact, and outside of their claimed loyalties, what many politicians say, and then do, are often worlds apart!

I have also heard it claimed that you could not fit a grain of sand between the actual agendas of either political faction, and that the words “Liberal & Conservative” mean less than nothing when attached to any bureaucrat’s name? In fact, and most who are not self-delusional will have to attest to this, most of those in politics are primarily concerned with themselves first (opinion)! It does, however, make for splendid press to pit one faction against the other, especially considering the fact that, after all is said and done, “We Are Americans – one and all, or at the very least – We Should Be!!”

So answer me this: “Why is it that while in military service, our people are not further separated into political factions? Or “American Cities” are not divided (street by street), into Republican, Democrat, Independent, or what have you? “It has happened before you now (1861 to 1865 for example)!

“Granted, everybody must follow their own banner!” But where it really counts, “Our Founders” had it right when they labeled Our Nation as “The United States of America!”

“And so it is, and so it must forever remain!!”
