Fire San Diego County
David & I got out early this morning there was about 1/4 inch of ash all over the car. There are fires all over California but closer to home in San Diego County. Just some pictures from this morning. this one is looking towards downtown from atop Mt. Solidad. That cloud cover you see is in fact all smoke & ash not a marine layer.

should be sunny today
the yellow skies behind me (where I was standing) off the coast is totally clear causing the white light on the hill.
PS we are not in any danger here - but many home have been lost north east of us.

The wall is the Korean Memorial atop Mt. Solidad still under contruction.

no filter
no yellow filter on the camara in any of these shots , thats smoke. It sure is errie. the sun shining through the windows is red.

Thanks for letting us know I have just got bits and pieces of this (watching the news rarely these days.) I thought everything was wayNorth of you. I would be scared for you but I knowyou and David have your plans mapped out if you would have to leave your AO.
