Andy,

Sorry about that, Chief! Never realized a corn cob could be potentially hazardous. Hey, I'd love to get you a couple of tickets to a game, but even I can't get them! They won't even give us any hot chocolate during late season games. That's how they can afford to pay Tom Brady all the big bucks.

Default My cannon barrel
is ready, Going to pick it up tomorrow. It weighs around 200 lbs. Boy am I excited. will post a pic when I pick it up.

Default Got the cannon barrel
has a 2 1/4 inch bore and about 1 inch thick and 4 feet long. it is a straight barrel so I will make it on a 4 wheeled ship carriage instead of a 2 wheeled field piece. I haven't weighed it yet but it is HEAVY.

Talking When I Picked up the barrel today
I met Bear at the outhouse saloon to get it. As we were loading it into the pickup one of the bartenders drove up and wanted to know what was going on. After telling her and going inside to have a drink to celebrate she remarked that she sure wished that she would have half the fun we do when she is our age.
