Talking today while on the links a loud noise came from the north

looking up i saw a formation of 2 B-29's and a B-25 Michell at about 5000 feet,we all just stood there and watched as a piece of history flew by it was a site to behold, and it was quit moving it least it was to me.

They just had the reunion in Columbia.

What a sight that musta been!

They didn't fly over Beaufort.....but we do have the Blue Angles this weekend. I'd rather have what you had.

Default My Brother In Law

Was a B-25 pilot in WW II. He had a few stories to tell. Passed away a few years back.

That probably was part of the Doolittle raid reunion. There won't be another. God bless 'em they got more cajones than I ever will.

Cool A few years ago the corps of eng. found a

B-17 at the bottom of lake Greenwood just a few miles from my house, still had a lot of the personal stuff of the crew.my mother remembers it going down,it seems like the pilot was buzzing some people it the beach and got to low and put it in the drink.i guess that was a quick way the get out of the air corps and in a ground unit.but it layed it the bottom of that lake from 1943 untill the 90's.i wonder if he the pilot had to pay for it,talk about a bad day.
