DMZ-LT General Johnstons letter to the VA said I was his FO. I thought I would log in as PHO (FO) 127 (1st battalion 27th Infantry), seemed like a good Idea at the time

To all of the friends of DMZ-LT, LT is my best friend in all the world, and I did not want to cause any embarrassing questions. I have hesitated joining because of wannabe head hunters. Due to service in Project Delta B52 Roadrunners and SOG 31 my records do not show service in RVN. Why? I do not know. Later service in 25th ID 1/27 infantry and 23rd ID 1/82 arty does not show either. PTSD claim was denied due to "no record of combat service" Had to contact LTC Johnny J. Johnston (LTG ret.) who was BNCO at the time and have him write a letter to VA confirming service in RVN and combat. After letter, PTSD appeal was approved. Just in case any headhunters are out there and you want to check, SOG opns at Quan Loi was SFC (Later CSM) Farrell. I do not discuss B52 or SOG opns on public net. Will tell great stories of General Johnston.

Quick clarification B52 was not aircraft, Was Project Delta, B52 roadrunners.

PHO for FO !! - No wonder our shirts have Psyco vets instead of Psycho Vets. or maybe that proves the point. These are good folks, don't worry about it - I got your slack bro. Glad we both made it home !
