Are you trying to post in the forum or the gallery? Here is a quick set of instructions for posting pictures in the forums.

There are two ways you can post a picture in the forum as follows:

1. Attach a picture
You can attach a picture to a post by going to the Attach file box at the bottom of the post. Click Browse and find the picture you want to post on your computer. Select it and then click open. When you submit the post it will be included.

2. Attach a picture link
You can also add a link to a picture that is on another website. To do this click the IMG button at the top of the post. Enter the web address of the picture you want to post and then click ok. Once you submit the post the picture will be displayed in the post.

If that does not work out please let me know and I will get them posted for you.

I don't have any idea why this thread is called the last battle of the Civil War. In case your interested it was the Battle of Palmetto Ranch in Texas April 26, 1865 and it was a Confederate victory. Now for as real brain teaser. When did the last Confederate unit surrender?

November 6, 1865. The CSS SHENANDOAH lowered the last official confederate flag and surrendered the ship to British authorities at Liverpool.

Oh man, you are too good David!!! Here is part II. Which American Diplomat stood on the back porch of his home witnessing the Shenandoah steam up the Thames and was absolutely furious that she still flew the Confederate ensign?

Talking My Southern Friends always tell me.

The Confederates never surrendered. It's just been a 150 year lull.

They have their sayings, "The South shall rise again!" etc. Did they really surrender?

I'm glad to know they had a last battle and there was a surrendered! Now I can tell them its all over.
