Prayers are easy to give. You've got to keep your friends spirits up. Positive attitude is the name of the game. I got cancer 5 years ago spent a week in the hospital and did six weeks of chemo - I know the story.
The whole thing is to keep saying I'll beat this shit and make plans to do something when you get out and do it. Push comes to shove soon enough and its not time now to write them off or let them write themselves off.
Depression kills I know I had for awhile. But I have good friends and family and they all kept me in good spirits during that time and I had to pull the rabbit out the hat or throw in the towel.
We are reaching the age where health is a major issue and the terror of it can be overwhelming. I'd rather be picked off by that killer out east than lie and in bed and die that slow death.
My motto is ain't over till I say it is!!!!!
