Default Wake Up Call!

Looks like the American populace has finally decided to wake up and pay attention to the TRUTH for a change, huh?

Yesterday was just the precursor of what will take place in 2008!----Its past time for a change and the American peole have spoken!,

The Repubs had their chance------they BLEW IT!----Just as I have been saying for the past 10 years or so. They are NOT suppotive of Veteran OR the active military as well!

Maybe now we can see some REAL progress in Veterans issues.

I split my vote big time this election. Mostly voted for people that I knew would do a good job, be they incumbants or not. I did NOT vote for our incumbant Congressman Joe Wilson. He still won. After contacting him about the plan to take away Social Security Disability benefits from SC disabled Vets I received a pre-written reply about how he is going to protect social security and all this stuff about SS but not a word about what my concern was. Also, after looking at his voting record on VA benefits, thank you Gimpy and the DAV, I knew I couldn't vote for him. In two years, I am also voting against Lindsey Graham, who has a little better voting record on vets issues than the average Republican, but still miserable and his stance on illegal immigration is deplorable. He's toast in my mind. The Republicans brought this on themselves, now maybe they will listen. I do say that having Pelosi and Reid in-charge is scary and personally, cannot stand either of those assholes, but the wake up call was there. Now, lets see what the Dems can do. I'll be watching. They wanted the ball...now lets see them move it. I will also be checking everyones votes on Veterans issues and have pledged to vote against any candidate that is against us....period.

One thing for sure is it won't be business as usual in January. What ever damage the president wants to do, he needs to bet done within the rest of this month and December. How does it feel to be a lame duck predisent Mr. Bush.

Default Line up for your entitlements folks,

withtheDemocrats in power we all should be gettin' our first free case of Bubble UpFedx at least in time for the weekend to celebrate their plans to save the world...

There's a big, brown cloud in the city,
And the countryside's a sin.
An' the price of life is too high to give up,
Gotta come down again.
When the world wide war is over and done,
And the dream of peace comes true.
We'll all be drinkin' free bubble-ubb,
Eatin' that rainbow stew.
When they find out how to burn water,
And the gasoline car is gone.
When an airplane flies without any fuel,
And the satellite heats our home.
One of these days when the air clears up,
And the sun comes shinin' through.
We'll all be drinkin' free bubble-ubb,
An' eatin' that rainbow stew.

Eatin' rainbow stew in a silver spoon,
Underneath that sky of blue.
All be drinkin' free bubble-ubb,
An' eatin' that rainbow stew.

Instrumental break.

You don't have to get high to get happy,
Just think about what's in store.
When people start doin' what they oughta be doin',
Then they won't be booin' no more.
When a President goes through the White House door,
An' does what he says he'll do.
We'll all be drinkin' free bubble-ubb,
Eatin' that rainbow stew.

Eatin' rainbow stew in a silver spoon,
Underneath that sky of blue.
We'll all be drinkin' that free bubble-ubb,
Eatin' some rainbow stew.

Eatin' rainbow stew in a silver spoon,
Underneath that sky of blue.
All be drinkin' that free bubble-ubb,
Eatin' rainbow stew.

I don't know that any party can feel confident that the majority of Americans are on their side when we have elections with only 40% of registered voters going to the polls. On my mind also are those out there that have never even botherd to register to vote. I've made a mental note to run down the numbers of those eligible but unregistered.

I push the voting thing to everyone I know, and I tell them to get other people they know to register to vote and vote in all elections no matter how small or how big it is. You don't vote your voice can't be heard.

Default Ersatz Concurrent Receipt

Although the full-blown version of the concurrent receipt issue was not passed, a modified form of it is now law, thanks to a Republican congress and a Republican President. That FACT is certainly more than can be said for the 40+ years of Democrat control of Congress, when even with a majority, and sometimes even with a veto-proof congress, they never once passed anything even closely resembling concurrent receipt.

Like many other retired and partially disabled veterans, I'm enjoying the benefits passed by the GOP. No thanks to da dims.

People should not be encouraged to register to vote or to vote.
The Democrat voice should be heard 24-7 and you should believe in what "The party" says. after all we know what is best for you and we are going to give it to you.
