Re: Arnold Schwarzenegger election certified
Hello Marie:
The problem that the new Governor will have is that both houses in the California legislature is controlled by Democrats. He will have a tough road ahead if he goes against the grain of the prevailing party. I wish him luck. Re: Arnold Schwarzenegger election certified
He got elected by not telling anybody what he was going to do. Now he has
to do something, and thats his problem. Arnold got elected by wowing everybody with his celebrity status. No discussion of issues. No ideas. Ducking debates. Saying he will figure out what he believes after the election. However, theatrics won't solve California's problems. Now Arnold must do something drastic, and all that aura of Hollywood fantasy, super-hero stufff is going to quickly evaporate when people realize that this body-builder, who doesn't know anything about politcs, or government, or Californias problems, doesn't have the ability to magically snap his fingers and solve the deficit problem crippling the state. -- ************************************************** ************************** An Archive of Nobel-Prize-Winning Pacifists and Peace Activists http://www.peaceuniversalist.com/nobel/prize.htm .. |

Arnold lies again
Now that liar wants to put a 20 billion dollar bond on the ballot.
That liar is also forcing Bustamante to drop his 9 billion $ lawsuit against Enron. This is the main reason this scenario was set up. Nice to see the Whore Press covered up the meeting Arnold had with Millken, Riordan and Lay. Besides, we're gonna have a LOT of fun when all those women come out of the closet and hit Arnold with Paula Jones' lawsuits! Arnold is going to be the most incompentent and impotent "Governor" California has ever had. We'll have fun with his impeachment! Nobody voted for Mr. Swarzenegger.....they voted agaonst Mr. Davis in an historical recall election.....so what? How much worse can it get? If Ahhnaaald just maintains and does nothing stupid, it will make Mr. Davis look like a fool. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++ "The multicultural project will never fully succeed if 'diversity' is defined as one's own preferred ideologies and political groups." --Richard E. Re: Arnold Schwarzenegger election certified
Hello Mange:
The political realities out here in California are much different than a slogan from a movie. In order to meet some of the new Governor's campaign promises, he will have to consider the impact that it will have on the State budget. For instance, the car registration fees that he promised to revoke once in office, if inacted (sp), will add approximately 4-billion dollars to the deficit. Promises are one thing, the reality is quite another.
