We are fast approaching the end of yet another series of elections, and just as quickly I fear, the end of the road for promises of convenience!

"Oh how things are going to dramatically change for the better (including for veterans) should we take control of Congress, brag the Republicans!? While on the flip side of the wooden nickel, the Democrats are claiming that - ?We all must be blind if we can not see how good we had it under their Congressional tenure?? What was it that old Harry Truman said; ?You have got to show me!!?

Ain?t it grand that the life expectancy of humanity is limited to some three score and ten (or so), for if we lived much longer, and retained our memories, we just might seriously question the motives and honesty of ?ALL? who glide along under the ?Banner of Bureaucracy!? Hey, come to think of it, maybe Alzheimer?s is a political conspiracy against those, who by virtue of age, have wised up the rich and/or powerful in government!? (Only kidding of course!)

Well, it?s after 1700 hours (5 P.M. - PST), and things are beginning to wind down (except for the political tears)! One thing, however, is a certainty, it being: ?Should the Republicans take over control of Congress, they will immediately be put to the task, and ordered to ?Stand And Deliver!? If, on the other hand, the Democrats stay in control, they too will be expected to ?Get Their Act Together, post haste (DAMNED FAST)!!? Most people are in no mood for more bull shit (or politics as usual, if you prefer)!

?Political Rhetoric? has it that most of the veteran?s cases, currently bogged-down in lies, maneuvering, and neck-deep bull-shit, will finally be affirmatively handled in the veteran?s favor by a self-proclaimed, veteran-friendly Republican Party (should they gain control again)? Well, we shall quickly see, as action talks and bull-shit walks, in say about two years!? And what is done (or not done) ?RIGHT NOW?, will determine who will be bunking-down in the White House after 2004 - ?COUNT ON IT!!!!?

Our memories may not grow short this time around, and mass impeachment, no matter the political party, is not an absolute impossibility! This action could include those who seek to drag their political feet, or continue to wield that ?Rubber Denial Stamp? on justified veteran?s claims for benefits!

To these (barely) humans I say: ?Lies, denials, agenda, destruction of records or alteration of same, (ref: DAIG-IN 21-75, COS 385, the Church Senate Report of 1977), will not serve you as well as it did your political predecessors in the past, or those who seek to continue on in these corrupted footsteps in the present!!? And after all is said and done, ?what you do in the next two years?, can either assist or destroy some politically, entire parties included! ?The choice is yours, please make it an honorable one!!?
