Default Geeze Tom,

I think, except for the Howard Sterns head....I look the same! Thanks for the reminder picture of 30+ later. Can't wait to see you guys in 24 days or so.

Stick mentioned gas milage and the cost of fuel. I also had at the time a 340 Duster which would run but with a 3:91 rear end, (wanted a 4:10 but wanted to keep in Factory Stock for the strip), the gas milage was a bit sparce. At about .30 in the South for Hi-test, I still found it expensive and had to get rid of it. All things are relative. Pay was so low...even .30 could seem expensive. Had a 70 Grand Prix with a 400 when the energy crisis began. When Hi-test hit .50, had to get rid of it. Same time my heating oil, #1 Kerosene, went from .15 to .50+. Sure was a cold winter cause I was working part time and in college...couldn't afford to heat Stately Lane Trailor. Don't know how people with oil heat up north do it today.
