“And This Is No Laughing Matter!!” The virus that is now making its rounds within “Our Nation” has no sense of humor! But even at that, today I saw numerous individuals roaming the streets without the benefit of any type of protective mask. And worst yet, many of them did not even seem to care who they may have been exposing, if not outright infecting, with this corona virus! The problem is that “SOME ELEMENTS OF OUR OWN GOVERNMENT” are doing little in attempting to really mitigate a situation that just might prove to be extremely damaging, if not ultimately fatal, to many a truly innocent individual?

And also for the record, within about half to a full hour later, these very same people were sighted leaving these markets, booze bottles tucked firmly under their arm pits, and grinning from ear to ear in anticipation of the high that was yet to come?

So much for “critical distancing”, as that booze bottle will have to travel no further than from their hands, to their lips, to their gullet, to their bellies - and from there to the nearest sewers, making room for their next infusion of bottle and bond, or the usually intoxicating nectar of the fermented grape!

“So Much For All Of This Social Distancing Rhetoric” as the distance between that jug’s neck and the gullet, can sometimes be a lot shorter than the distance between that same damned bottle and the grave! (Personal opinions by - hrt, 4/1/2020)
