I`ve only been to the moving wall,myself.When I went I told myself that I needed to do it for me,but suddenly realized that "I" was the most insignificant being there.It`s all about them-those who`s names are etched forever in that damn black granite. Thanks y'all. Excited and scared at the same time. Heading out about 5am tomorrow. Just me and silence going to drive the old truck up to DC , it's about 10 hours away. Joseph Galloway will speak at the Wall and Bobby said he be waiting at the bar when I got there ........ we were soldiers once ... and young.

Kinda feel like a step-child to the 3/5th Cav, as they were part of the 9th Inf Div when I was assigned to them. And our unit, the 2-47th Inf (Mech), had several joint operations with them.
Now to the current time: as your bro, I'd say go the Wall, and wrap your arms around your own feelings since they're your own, and experience that moment. If someone is with you that really loves you, they'll be wrapping their arms around you, giving you support, love and encouragement. Then you can say those long-suppressed Hellos to your fallen mates, and receive the glow that they have responded from their Fiddler's Green. Me and the rest of your of your bro's got your ruck, so mount up, and know that Scouts are indeed out, checking your point! Scouts Out!! Brice

LT you will be in the hands of he that knows your heart better than anyone and will carry you through. I went to the Wall in 89, but just couldn't keep it together. I am glad your brothers in arms will be there to share the experience. Prayers out.
