Default SUDOKU, anyone?

I am fast becoming a Sudoku fan. ( To see what this is, go to: http://www.websudoku.com/?level=3 )
I do a couple of these puzzles a day, it reallly is some mental exercise.
I was given a couple of sudoku books for Christmas. I can do the HARD ones fairly consistently but the EVIL ones can leave me cursing
Anyone else doing this? (challenge: do em in pen)
Stay good
James

How can that be? Same 24 hours as anyone. I also play chess, backgammon, cribbage, poker, solve the jumble in the paper, crossword puzzles and read a lot.
Thats all besides reading 2 papers a day and trying to figure out what it all means. I save a lot of time by not posting on Political Debates
Stay good, Dave. Hi to Darlene

I purchased abook for my daughters best friend for Christmas along with a hand held electronic game that has something like 2,000 Sudokupuzzles. I found a series of books that begin with the "green belt" level, go to the brown and then black.I chose the "brown belt" level as she has been printing out and doing the puzzles from an online sitesince she discoveredSudoku. She also has a passion for crossword puzzles. No surprise. This girl excels at whatever she does. Shehas her airframe and power plant licence, works as a mechanic for American Airlines, has her private pilot license,a Bachelor of Sciencein computer programming, plays music, cooks, and in her spare timeshe designs and throws together with my daughters help a side patio, a goldfish pond, plants trees or digs them up and moves them (my daughter moves trees like some people move the couch around) .Ithink you have to be more right brained than left to doSudoku and she certainly fits the bill. I'm a little left of center (known in some circles as eccentric) . Sudoku is better left to those that are quite adept at taking things apart and putting them back together without having to read the directions. That wouldn't be me.

Our local paper came out with the SUDOKU puzzles about a month ago. Tried the first one and smoked through it. The "belt" rating doesn't seem to have much bearing on the intensity. Great challenge though. Does the pen require erasable ink?

Sandy

You either got this or you don't.
It takes me about 20-30 minutes or so to do one at the hard level

Arrow: Surprisingly, my niece (age 25, a newspaper reporter) was the one that got me started. She's better at it than me too.
Stay good

God that hurt my eyes when I opened the site. Yipes too much thought needed here I backed out. I'm sure many others will take on the challenge.
