For more than a century, on a Saturday soon after Thanksgiving, somewhere on the East Coast, a chant begins …

“Beat Navy!”
”Beat Army!”
“Beat Navy!”
”Beat Army!”

Often, bragging rights are the only thing at stake.* However, that “only thing” means everything to these young cadets and midshipmen.*

This game is the last game for the seniors.* They will soon join their fellow officers, around the world, to fulfill a commitment of duty, honor and sacrifice.* They will work together, fight for each other and serve for everyone.*

But for one Saturday in December, until that final whistle blows, these two teams, standing face to face, will see nothing more than an enemy and an end zone.

May the best team win.

This Saturday’s game will air on AFN Sports at 8 p.m. GMT Saturday. See the AFN Schedule here.
