Need Anecdotes from former Tamaroa-Zuni crew members

By chance if any of you ever served on the Tamaroa or the Zuni as she was known in her Navy days, we are still looking for anecdotes regarding your time on her that we may record for posterity. It matters not whether they are humorous, heroic or whatever. We who served on the Tamaroa-Zuni know that one time she could be maddening to deal with and yet another time she could be strong as a bull.

we really want to build a library of stories about her and her various crews throughout her 51 year history so please help if you can.
