Harold Wayne Cozby, MSgt USAF(Ret)

Cozby, Harold Wayne 69 years old of Mesquite, Texas, went to be with our Lord December 10, 2010. Son of Clifford & Lillie Cozby, born in Dallas, Texas Nov 6, 1941.

Also known as little Harold, as a young boy he had a long career at the State Fair of Texas, and in 1960 he joined the Air Force. On April 24, 1965, he married Diane Miller of Dallas, and served in Vietnam for one year. Harold was stationed in Grand Forks, North Dakota from 1968 to 1980. Retiring from the Air Force in 1980 moved home to Mesquite, Texas.

He work-ed at the post office and retired in 2003. Harold married Sandra Hedrick on July 9, 2006. He is preceded in death by parents Clifford and Lillie Cozby his wife Diane Cozby. Survivors include wife, Sandra Cozby of Mesquite; children, Joe, Cliff, Chris, Amy, Stephanie, Morgan, Terry; grandchildren, Chris, Josh, Sydney, Benjamin, Brandon, Stephanie, Joshua and James; sister, Claudette Stubblefield and husband Max of Amarillo Texas; brother, Gene and Al Cozby of Knoxville, Tennesse; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Harold loved to play golf and any outdoor activity. He loved to spend time with sons and grandchildren as much as possible. The family will receive friends, Monday, 6:00 until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held, 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 14, 2010, Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Grove Hill Memorial Park.
