Thumbs up Going to visit Frank

It's been a little over a year since Frank left us. Saturday morning Sid and I are riding our bikes over to White Oaks house in AL. and then the 3 of us are riding over to visit with Frank. " If you are wounded I will carry you , if you are captured I will come for you and if you are killed I will never forget you. " Frank never got to meet my grandson , Johnny , but Johnny will grow up knowing about Frank. Peace y'all.

Default Strange But

I got to thinking about it last night and I cannot remember a single name or face of people that died around or near me in VN. I spent a lot more time with some of them than I did with Frank but I can remember almost every moment I spent with Frank. I can see his Face so clearly. Kind of seems that Frank is the spirit of all those guys that I lost so many years ago in a time when I had to steel myself against any grief or emotion. See ya Saturday Frank.

Peace
for the three of you.
In this case the sound of MC engines is more appropriate than flowers.

Default I

Wish I could be there with you guys.

John and Sid, tell Danny it was an honor to meet him last year, and don't forget to let Frank know I really do miss him and how proud I am to still call him my brother.

God bless you three guys for going to visit Frank........and stay safe on the road.

Give Frank a sharp 101st "Rendezvous With Destiny" hand salute from me, boys. HE IS MISSED!

Tell Danny he's missed on the site, also.

Stay safe, guys.

My memory will always be that picture of him in Vietnam. He had the face of a child and the look of a seasoned soldier.
