Thumbs up The way we worked the Z

Would form a circle with the tracks for our night NDP and in the morning would mount up and run 1 to 6 miles away. There would circle the tracks as well as could in a hide location and sent out dismounted patrolls. Kept a driver and 50 guy on each track and the rest of us went out. Tried to make contact with a small force and then "pile on"

I am trying to picture the Z . Wasn't there a "trace" Macnamara's wall dozed off in 67 ? Theoretically it should have been easier going for your tracks .
Mech Infantry tactics interesting , were likely a successful method .

Looks some of the road to An Khe to me. But it can't be, even when the 4th moved to Radcliff in 70 the hwy was paved all the way from Pleiku to Radcliff. Remember seeing LZ Blackhaw, and LZ Action on that road. Believe LZ Action had a sign, that read, coke 10c, beer 25c, and security free. Or was that Hard times that had that sign.
