To Each His Own

They say that no man is an island, and this is true, at least as far as it goes! However, to categorize any individual or group there-of, does an injustice to all men, at any time in human history, in my opinion!

We are all born equal in the eyes of “Our Creator”, or so say those who preach in ideals! And once again, this is a splendid concept, if it were forever true? Unfortunately however, our race of beings rarely practices what it preaches, and inequity always seems to flourish somewhere, and at some time, as the daily news adequately points out!

Wouldn’t it be nice however if, like the old song “To Each His Own” – (published in 1946) implies: “We truly did respect the right of others to follow their own star, to live by their own conscience, and to adhere by their own personal mandates?”

“But alas, thus far in human history, this has rarely come to pass!” And until world leaders begin to lead by their own Good Examples – “It Probably Never Will Either?”
