The term AMERICAN doesn"t mean people from the United States.
People from Brazil are Americans. I don't know why people can't call the United States the United States, The USA doesn't mean Americans, it means UNITED STATES of America. This reporter was saying she was by the American embassy, Sorry she was by the UNited States embassy.
There is North, South and central America, There is only one United States, Thats where Im from. I also live in part of the Americas, But the flag is the Stars and stripes of the UNITED STATES.
If there are people from the UNITED STATES in Lebanon there idiots or just US citizens in name only, and they went there by choise.

Because those people aren't as arigant as we are. They wouldn't clame a continent as there country, People here have done it for so long that it seems natural.
The Americas run from Barrow Alaska to cape horn south America.
We are Americans, But so are Mexicans, and Canadians, They just don't call thereselfs that like we do. You and me are citizens of the UNITED STATES. The Flag that you fought under is the United States Flag. Even the USA stands for UNITED STATES (((of))) America.
