Default Holidays

They are hard for me.. Like most of you know I lost the most important thing to me two years ago..I lost my baby for those who don't know.. Holidays are still really tough for me.. but I manage to get thru them cause of my nieces and newphews.. i am hoping my sister and her kids come down to Florida for Christmas.. that would be the greatest gift of all.. If I could get her here she would move here..
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone here thru the holidays.. I know how tough I have it and can't imagin how hard it will be on some of my friends here..
love ya
Your friend and God Bless,
Tina

I lost my Grandmother in April. She was a huge part of the holidays. 96-1/2 years old. had her wits with her until she died. I think she willed herself to live long enough to see all of her family before she "let go."
Holidays are never a good time to remember the losses, but I find it easier to look at the good the loved ones gave us. It would take 150 years to accomplish what my Grandmother did in 96-1/2.
As Tiny Tim said," God bless us everyone."

My son would be 14 this coming Jan 4. I lost him when he was 3 to Marphyns Syndrome. After that, the holidays really haven't held much meaning for me. I attend the christmas functions with whatever woman I'm dating or married to at the time, but it feels awkward. It would be nice to go from Halloween straight though to St. Patricks Day. It's a very depressing time, and those christmas sales commercials really annoy the hell out of me.
