The terrorist organizations in Afganstan are crushed. Who is next? My choice is Lebanon with at least three organizations operating there.

Land bases for support? What about Turkey, and that small island near India (or somewhere there), the UK, flying the B-52's?
I think if something will start overthere against Iraq, they will start with airstrikes just like Afghanistan.
Not to forget, what about the aircraft carriers of the US en UK?

Thumbs down Turkey is not going to

let us use any of there bases, because the people would see it as an attack on Musilms and that government couldn't stand up or wont stand up too them and stay in power.and if all we'll have is the U K then the rest of the world will see it as the white race killing the dark-skined race so the way i see it is we are in a lose lose place.

We haven't attacked yet because we're still trying to get the deck stacked so when we go in we will win.

Somewhere is a group of military planners and a group of political planners. When they work out how to attack and what we will do when we win, the battle will begin.

Iraq is probably at the top of the list but planning may be complete for other battles first.

you talk about war like its something cool!!!!

It has been more than a year since the first post on this thread.

So, we're in Afghanistan and Iraq, one way and another.

Looks like they've got their sights set on Syria, Iran and North Korea at this point... and maybe also Liberia.

We have about 370,000 military staioned in 120 countries, any one of which could erupt into a conflagration at any point in time, suddenly. Bizarrely, we even have troops on Cuban soil, supposedly our nemesis. Wonder how Florida or Texas, say, would feel about having a Cuban military base on the tip of one of their shores.

In another year, I'll check back to this thread and see who or what we've invaded or occupied by then.
